Questions & Answers

On an airplane, will this be played?

My sincere thanks go out to you. If you want to take it with you, you will have to check it in with your luggage. Getting in touch with Customer Service at Scuba choice

Installing a band how should it be done?

You can use a safety pin to tie a string through the hole and hook it to the end of the string.

What size can it be if it is broken down? How big is it? Will it fit in my ?

There is no problem fitting it About two to two and a half feet is the width of each section. As I am not able to get to it to give accurate measurements, I cannot give them. The good news is that it is I'm sure you've noticed the long swimfins taking up all the space in the water. I hope this is helpful.

What is the purpose of not installing the sling or band?

In high season, we usually don't have the sling installed. This may have caused some inconvenience, and we apologize for it.

Tape must be used on the There is a sharp surface on the stainless steel connections for the two sections of fiberglass to screw together which should be covered by electrical tape because otherwise it will cause you to cut your hand, especially for the price

I would recommend the JBL travel spear, which has a smooth.

Construction and finish are excellent, and the tips are nice and thick
5/5

It seems that a few reviews complained about this spear arriving missing the sling bungee or with an unfinished fiberglass pole. The spears will need some extra touchups before they will be safe to use. Although I was concerned by the negative reviews, I decided to give it a shot anyway since I live on an island and can't go to West Marine and there aren't many other spear options online, let alone on Amazon. I received the spear in its entirety with all parts, it had a sturdy finish on the pole and connection points, and it was well packaged. There's something about this spear that's great, since the heads are a nice thick gauge metal. This is great when fishing or diving around reef areas where you might spear coral or rock. I recommend you check the gauge of your spear tip as it may be half that of yours. After a few hits from rocks and coral, we are going to re-tip our spears Bring the points back to their original positions. This is not something I see myself having to do with these tips. Anyway, the long and short of it is that the pole came with everything, and we are very happy with the tips and heads. I have only used it once, but so far it seems to work well. My pole and tripod came in good condition and was delivered on time. I did buy an extra bungee sling, since they tend to wear out over time. I am quite pleased with the 3 heads and 4' pole for this price point. I also like the fact that the bag is included with the product. You guys deserve some credit here, I hope you've resolved your finishing issues for other potential customers in the future.

The price is good for the quality
4/5

It is a nice set for the money, and the components are all in good working order. A reviewer who complained about protruding rivets on the rod pieces I received did not find them on my samples. I was unable to use the band on my set, but a paperclip provides a very easy way to pull it through. I was able to fit my rod pieces There are two types of paralyzers single-legged and wheeled. There were two barb floppers included in the package that came with the set screw attached nicely and securely. The barbs are very Two out of five stars Set of travel pieces that fits in my suitcase easily and is well worth the money. My set will probably be enclosed in a molded plastic travel tube if the travel bag is not adequate.

It is not well finished
3/5

There are hundreds of fiberglass splinters on my arms and hands. At first glance, I thought the quality was good. However, I should have listened to another reviewer who also complained about this problem. I put my hand into the splinters and realized that my hands and arms were adorned with fiberglass fragments. The product was reviewed in more detail, and I noticed it was poorly finished in the extremities and the hole for inserting the sling, with hundreds of fiberglass fragments. The product needs to be polished before use, and I will see how it performs, but so far I am not very impressed. In addition to their proudly advertised "American Made" status, I thought it meant excellent In this case, this is not true.

I was disappointed on the band hole not being drilled correctly
3/5

3 out of 5. I give it 5 just because the hole for the band wasn't drilled out properly and I can't feed it through. Despite being easy to fix, it actually didn't live up to expectations in terms of quality. It is good that the tips are broken down and that there are multiple tips. It was difficult to assemble out of the box, and now the nylon on the band is frayed due to a jagged hole drilled through it. I also have fiberglass in my fingers as a result of the jagged hole.

I am disappointed
3/5

That's such a pity. An area where the fiberglass and connector meet is cracked on the shaft. It's as if they pop up for no apparent reason A rivet broke the shaft when it was tightened on the insert. There's no straight edge on that thing! Prior to leaving a bad review, I attempted to contact the company privately in order to resolve something between us, but there was no response from them. It's not only that, but the shafts are poorly coated, which leaves splinters behind. It's a shame, I will say it again. THOUGH, the good part of this article is its I thought it was quite well done.

This is the product that was I received this product within a few days of ordering and it was Every piece is in good working order
5/5

My stance on Fiber glass is the same as yours. The holes drilled by the poles for end caps and lanyards are probably the main cause, but it was expected for the price. To make it disappear, I applied a light coat of clear flex seal in the holes and Glass splinters are a thing of the past! I would buy again if the price is right.
