There are hundreds of fiberglass splinters on my arms and hands. At first glance, I thought the quality was good. However, I should have listened to another reviewer who also complained about this problem. I put my hand into the splinters and realized that my hands and arms were adorned with fiberglass fragments. 3 out of 5. I give it 5 just because the hole for the band wasn't drilled out properly and I can't feed it through. Despite being easy to fix, it actually didn't live up to expectations in terms of quality. It is good that the tips are broken down and that there are multiple tips. My stance on Fiber glass is the same as yours. The holes drilled by the poles for end caps and lanyards are probably the main cause, but it was expected for the price. To make it disappear, I applied a light coat of clear flex seal in the holes and Glass splinters are a thing of the past! I would buy again if the price is right.
