A pole spear isn't meant to actually leave your hand. It has a rubber band on the end which you hook your hand through and stretch it to the top, where you hold it with your hand until it's time With it, you will be able to spear something up to a few feet away. The spear gun comes with wire attached to the spear if you want to spear something that is further away.
4 is the number of the pole itself. There is a nice barbed tip on the end of the 5ft cable that unscrews and comes in a 1ft length. I like the way the spear flies,
By putting the band around your wrist, you reach way up on the rod, and then you release the rod. Kids can learn to spear fish via this method since it's one of the best ways to get close to A pole spear or Hawaiian sling is the only way to use spears in the Bahamas. The underwater version is similar to a sling shot. The game is small enough to fit inside a kid's hand.
As you make your way to the other side of the pole, take the black cord attached to the band and thread it through the hole. Once you're on the other side of the pole, run the band through the loop and pull it tight.

A few pieces are missing. The only spear pole included in the shipment was the yellow one pictured above. Neither a sling band nor a spear tip is present. Not happy about the gift I got for my family for Christmas.
As I mentioned earlier, I have no intention of badmouthing this spear head and pole set, but, when you screw the spear head on, it just turns and turns and turns. Before the event, there is a pre-event An opening was drilled in the spear head attachment (female side) and the fiberglass shaft. However, there is no screw or rivet holding the metal part to the fiberglass head. I find the design to be poor, or the quality control is poor. It has a quite large barb, as can be seen in the photo. If I could receive a replacement, I would appreciate it.
I would consider it my best purchase thus far. It is very difficult to handle the rubber sling, but if you have this spear you can throw it like Tom Hanks in Castaway. If you get bored, you might also want to try killing chicken if you get bored with fishing. Make sure you buy it and stab them in the face instead of second guessing your decision.
On our first fishing trip, we were able to catch 3 fish! An excellent spearfishing pole for those new to the sport. There are only a few things to note The only thing you need is a fiberglass pole, a stainless steel tip, and a rubber band. This method works well, but it is remarkably efficient. I didn't have to work too long to figure out how it worked, and then I just needed to practice to improve my In order to improve my aim before hitting the open water, I took it into the swimming pool at least a few times. A couple of times went diving in the area of Fort Bragg, CA. In just a couple of hours, I managed to catch 3 fish. The range is limited to about 5 feet - so it's a bit of a challenge. Longitude and latitude are related to the pole's length. The reload time after a miss is quick enough that you can often take about two or three shots in a single breath.
As expected, everything works as it should. If it gets away from you, I would make it a different color. If you lay yellow down on the bottom, it might be more difficult to find. do not care for what I would label a super-power The barb should be the right size. The tip could be 1/4 to 1/2 inch closer to the base and almost an inch shorter than the base. It seems so short as to have enough drive behind it to make sure the barb goes all the way through that a 5 foot pole would be the most suitable. It will not bounce off when you hit it, so you don't have to worry.
This rod is good for what it is, despite how hard it can be to catch a fish. My rubber band is quickly wearing out as I was attaching it. I got splinters when I attached the rubber band. It is important not to leave the little red cap on the shaft tip where it is hot, so it does not shrink and become stuck. I had to use a knife to cut it.
Despite my expectation, the rubber band was not attached to the spear pole. Trying to thread it through the spear pole took 20 minutes, despite having to dismantle it without breaking it. At this price, the pole is still worth it, but it would have been more valuable had it already been.
