It comes with the shaft and spear, and everything is as shown in the images
A gun that has been shot floats once it has been shot. As long as the spear is attached to it, it will sink.
You can shoot in fresh water fish in certain locations as long as it is legal. In the area where I live, spearfishing is only allowed in salt water
A 3 foot distance is considered accurate but depends on the type of fish. You are also unable to get a good shot at thick fish with this gun. For example, a snook or something similar to it, it will only scratch them. As a gift for my wife, I bought it and it works for sheaphead and small fish at least to have fun. This is the perfect size, as far as I am concerned. The size of the hands is comfortable and doesn't fatigue you. There is power, but there is also weakness. Um, I guess close is the best. something powerful, comfortable, and accurate, I strongly recommend the JBL reload gun, but if you prefer the wooden one, I also have it and love it it's well balanced and great for reloading The device is very accurate from a distance and it is not that expensive, in my opinion. Overall, I have 9 guns, and my favorite is the JBL, but I have forgotten the exact model of the wooden one. The good thing about this sling is you can use it for deep deep and for regular deep you can use it from about 5' to 50' but if you want to go deeper than that, get a 3-sling. Hope this helps, thanks.

This is one I've had for a long time. It is a good gun at its price point. This is the only gun that I ever use now and it's been with me for a while. There is still a great deal of speed even with just the one band included. Having multiple bands is always an option if you wish for even more speed. I bought another one for my buddy as a gift a few weeks ago and he was equally amazed by how well it works. Almost immediately after the shaft was made, it began to rust. The deal is good, but only for a limited time.
It has been three months since I first noticed it. The South Pacific is my home, and I dive at least once a week. If possible, I try to get out a couple of times a week as well. Tropical waters with clear water, and reefs that drop off to the deep, are my favorite places to fish. Free diving with a snorkel and mask is my favorite activity. In addition to the flaws noted by others, the gun has a few other downsides as well. Since I have found that these issues can be fixed, I am willing to fix and deal with them for the price quoted. **Security is an important concern. Another review pointed out that the safety feature is a bit Depending on the way you tilt the gun when the gun is cocked and ready, the safety slide will move back and forth. The safety can slide in place and you may miss your shot if the safety slides in place when you want to shoot. You may also find that the safety may not come on at the time you want it to. Then simply hold the safety in the on position and squeeze the trigger once the gun is cocked. There is an apparent lock-in with this approach, and it doesn't move. The safety system will remain in place as long as you take the safety It seems to me that once I remove the safety, it doesn't always go back on until I have shot and reloaded the weapon. My parents have taught me to never depend on safety anyways, so be careful when you do. This is a problem Mares really needs to resolve. There is a liability associated with it. *The spear is a weapon that was used in the battle with the Greeks There is no good in it. There are three wheels on this vehicle I have discovered that the cutting tip does not penetrate very Moreover, the hooks of the band are not flat on the shaft, but rather appear to stick out of it. It was possible to cut the line connecting the shaft to the gun at the end of the covered muzzle when they caught Also, on my second attempt, the crimping on the line connecting the shaft came off after I shot a dogfish tuna as a result, both the shaft and the tuna were lost. The shaft has been replaced by a better one that is slightly thinner, and the results are significantly better. Groups of Bands When the gun has its stock band installed, it is pretty weak. After the second band was installed, I noticed a striking increase in In addition to tightening the stock band, you can also reduce the length of the stock band. I find that it is loose, and while making it shorter makes it more difficult to load, there is no harm in making it shorter. My take on the situation Add a second band and the gun will be improved dramatically. Replace the spear shaft and the gun will be improved significantly. It is an excellent gun for the price and I have found it successful with a wide variety of fish species and sizes in the 3 months I have had.
It is sleek, accurate, and well made so far, and I have had no problems thus far. Considering the price, I found that this product exceeded my expectations and I felt exceedingly comfortable and precise at the coasts of Santa Cruz Island.
I highly recommend this product for its high The spears do not require any additional bands, shafts, tips or anything else to allow them to go into the water. The fish is 20 inches long. You should buy this if you need a cheap, reliable firearm at a good price!.
I purchased this smaller (75cm) shotgun as it is easier to travel with. It will fit diagonally in a 40" rolling duffel bag and I will not have to pay to check it as oversize. After reading other reviews, I put on a second band and ground the end of the shaft to make it more accurate. There is a little bit of slack in the safety, as others have mentioned. In order to fix the issue, I just pressed my dive knife against the plastic to create some bumps so the safety stays in place. This was the first time that the gun had been used successfully. For a little more range, I lengthened the shooting line, which was already anticipated by the gun by providing a notch at the tip of the gun where I could wrap one more wrap of shooting line. This will be my go-to Previously, I used my Salvimar 105cm scuba camera in the reef, but its high power and length made it unsuitable for fishing among rocks and coralized areas.
It has a 95 cm range (great). You'd be better off going for a smaller one if you're running close to the reef and don't intend to take long shots on big fish. Despite its size, it does have space for a second band (I had mine added by Neptonics). There is a loose safety on this gun, and if you tilt it to the left it will engage automatically. As a result of removing the safety, I have no more issues. Also, several friends have expressed interest in purchasing this gun as a backup.
It doesn't work at all when you press the "safety" button. There are not many screws on this gun and it will light up and shut off by itself if you turn it Due to the fact that my first gun also had a broken trigger mechanism, I assumed it was just a defect. (The spear would not release until I yanked it hard. ) I received a replacement and even though the trigger works fine, the safety remains useless. There are likely a lot of new spearfishers out there with these defective guns since they seem like a good entry level weapon.
I like this gun a lot. The fishing was good after the second dive, when I got a 8-pound A little sketchy, but the safety does the job. There is enough power, and I like that a dyneema wishbone, a monofilament line, and a bungee are This gun would be suitable for reef fishing but not for deep sea fishing. Measure 75 cm.
There was a lot of damage to the package when it arrived. It appeared that the spear was bent and damaged, and the band seemed dry rotted. It also had scratches on it. As a result, Amazon took care of me regarding the matter, and I got a replacement spear shaft and band. Now, it works much better. recommended as long as it comes in good shape when it is shipped.
