Selected User Reviews For Frabill Ice Min-O-Life Aerator, Salt Water and Fresh Water Quiet Portable Aerator
Having used the Fabril aerator for many years, this review is a double edged sword it can be very positive or very negative. I am pleased to say that the lease has been flawless. All of the batteries we have used have been the cheap D batteries that are two for a dollar. When used for four During their three-hour fishing periods, they have kept the aerator running for a minimum of three times. It was found that the cheap batteries have lasted over 24 hours when the bait was kept for a day. However, this is not a review of Aerators of this type should last for hours and days over a long period of service. That's why I rate the ]product a 5 on durability and performance. The stars are. I want to tell you the reason for the 3 I gave it a five-star rating. As a result of our years of satisfied use of the Fabril aerator at our winter residence, I ordered a second one. There have been many less expensive aerators, including Fabril, that I haven't been able to use for The fact that this was a Warehouse Deal did not occur to me by mistake. I received it and noticed that the original packaging had been taped shut. My wife opened the package and noticed that it had been taped There was a sticker on it indicating that it had been inspected. Aerators that had been removed from the package were scuffed and had missing parts and had significant scuffing on the body- In addition to the two parts of the outer shell being screwed together, the screw that holds them together was important. In the absence of this, it is of no use. It is my assumption that someone ordered a new aerator and repackaged the old aerator before returning it to Amazon for a "refund. ". There was so much wear and tear on it. The item was allegedly inspected by Amazon before being listed for sale. The second issue to deal with Warehouse Deals, out of only two issues so far It has never been a good experience with returns for either of them. It is undesirable that Amazon had used this aerator. I find it objectionable to put an inspection sticker on a product, which is clearly well used and has missing parts. Due to that, I would give Amazon a 0 out of 10. They accepted the return and refunded the money. The return process took time and effort. I had to order it, then take it back to a UPS facility. The shipping cost for Amazon was wasted both ways. We had to pay more to get a new aerator from a retailer. It is a shame that Amazon has made such an error. In addition, the new Fabril Ice Miner is definitely worth checking out The Life Aerator works flawlessly as I had expected. It only took two cheap batteries to keep the aerator running while it was unattended for over 30 hours That's it. That's all I have to say.
I was looking for a battery-powered aerator. Because of my location in Texas, we do not get those days far too often, so a battery powered unit is fine for me. It was easy to mount the unit to the side of my The suction cup did not stay attached to the bucket after I attached it. Although the bubbler hose did get weighed down as a result of it, which is exactly what I wanted! That will be a big plus for my mare, as it is very quiet. This week's update Over the last 24 hours, the temperature has fluctuated between single digits and 20 degrees. She didn't get her water to freeze, which is good news! It's bad news that the Duracell Pro batteries only last for 16 consecutive hours.
I have recently purchased this aerator and use it over the next several days to keep minnows fresh for a fishing trip the next day. There are multiple instances in which this aerator stopped working without apparent cause. No matter how fresh the Duracell batteries were it would not work. this device several times during my fishing trips and had the same problems each time. Each time I aerated the water, I used fresh batteries and monitored the aerator in the garage overnight. There were multiple times the aerator unexpectedly shut off. I was fortunate that it was winter and that I lost very little bait. In exchange for a refund, I returned this item. As a final thought, you shouldn't buy this one.
This is what I bought to use in my large insulated minnow bucket, which I use for crappie fishing. Over Labor Day weekend, it sat in my boat from Friday afternoon to Monday afternoon, sometimes in the sun for short periods if I didn't get to it in time. In there I had four dozen minnows. In total I had 3 dead batteries in those 3 days, and as for the aerator one, I hadn't turned it off, and I hadn't changed the 2 D cells, which were just Duracells. Another aerator I used in my live well would run my batteries down every 24 hours, and it did not deliver higher air production. I guess I was lucky as I maintained my speed without slowing down for 72 hours when I first started.
Before I went fishing, I replaced batteries after two whole days and managed to keep three bluegills alive. There are enough bubbles to keep even the most intrepid of fish afloat for days. There is no need to get another airstone for that, unless you just want the visual effect of all those It's extremely quiet, so you won't hear anything during your fishing trip or storing your bait away before your weekend trip. It makes it easy to keep bait alive while you're out fishing or storing away for a few days before your.
Our first use of it was in October, and it was perfect. I just got it out to start using it again yesterday and it's dead. I used it for maybe a month at most before it died. I thought maybe the batteries were dead, so I put in new ones. I don't think the aerator is going to work. I had high hopes for this one, but I'm My return will be to the cheaper ones since there's no reason to pay more for a good one if it doesn't last as long as the cheaper.
If it wasn't for the crap air stone you get, I'd give this five stars. This flashlight works really well, and when you buy fresh batteries it will last for two to three days on full power. Make sure you buy the cheap blue stones with.
The product I have used a few times seems to be very well made and reasonably durable. It has worked well so far. I had expected it to be a little larger, but I find it fine. To protect the equipment in salt water environments, I will ensure that the equipment is rinsed and dried after each use.
