Sougayilang Spinning Fishing Rod and Reel Combos Portable Telescopic Fishing Pole Spinning reels for Travel Saltwater Freshwater Fishing

We are backpacking to a mountain lake and I picked this up for the trip. This has been an amazing experience. As expected, the case is portable and small. It's not anything extraordinary or special compared to a regular rod, but its portability is very important. As far as customer service is concerned, they were great when I reached out to them following a shipment from Amazon in which the reel broke in shipping without any padding. A new reel arrived within a week of my request, and it was free of charge. I have one issue with this reel - there are small metal circles on it that aren't necessary and cause the line to hook on them when casting out. However, it is avoidable if you're conscious of it, and it doesn't present a significant issue. All in all, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. In addition, I've seen some reports of guide rings coming off the rod, and from my previous experience with telescopic rods, I know just how important it is to extend the rod gently. It doesn't really require a lot of tugging to get into position. It just needs a gentle push to extend. On any telescopic rod, if you push too hard, you will break those guide rings loose. Educating myself on how to be gentle with telescopic rods began when I was a kid with my first one. Make sure it is treated with kindness and you should not experience any problems.

We returned briefly to Virginia on our way back to Florida. As we had been staying there for about a week for him to spend time with his friends, I wanted to be able to fish some of my old haunts. Even though I was skeptical about the reliability of this rod and reel, it was a top-notch product! Despite the fact that I packed in a carry-on, it was really easy. A great combination was the carry-on bag plus the extra spool for the reel that allowed me to pre-load the reel It is best to have two different line weights depending on whether I'm fishing in a creek or a lake. My landing on 1 was no problem at all The catch included a 5 pound bass, bluegill the size of a hand, and a surprise 5-inch fall fish A catfish weighing four pounds. did not experience any of the problems that were mentioned in the negative reviews, and although I wasn't as gentle as the reviewers, I was neither abusive nor careless with the gear. I'm glad I bought this rod/reel combo instead of just buying something in Virginia and leaving it there - On a side note, I'm glad I chose this over just buying something else - In that area, fishing gear was rare or nonexistent! I have now started thinking about buying a second one and bringing both of them when I travel or take vacations.

There have been at least a dozen travel/portable fishing poles I've bought over the years, and they have all been terrible. A standard pole either breaks easily or the response is so poor that it would take a whale snapping your line to feel the bite. However, this pole operates differently than others. My first one was purchased on Black Friday a few years back after I had recently broken my old one and this one was being sold for a cheap price. In the beginning, I didn't think it would be good for the price, but when I received it I was pleasantly surprised. The video is really well made and it has a really close response to a one-star movie The pole consists of two pieces. It collapses down to a small size and is composed of a lot of sections, which is amazing. It is easy to transport in my carry on luggage, and I have taken it all over the world. Even after all these years, it still holds My family and friends have now received several of these It is simply the best fishing rod for anyone who travels a lot and enjoys fishing almost anywhere and everywhere.

I caught a small one right before it got dark. With it I am able to fish for surf perch on the Oregon coast. I got the rod that is just a bit shy of 12 feet in length. You can whip it out like a light saber, but avoid using it like a light saber or else it will My only wish is that the handle was not so short but and I love the eva knob, it does make casting much easier. I wish that the handle was longer for casting farther, but I just can't beat the price. Despite rusting screws on the side, this saltwater pump is cheap and has managed to hold up so far. It is exactly what I wanted.

This is so great! This rod has a folded length of 16 and 6/16th of an inch and an open length of 82 inches. It is simply a matter of pulling the rod open and it will lock into place. I love the fact that this is my first folding rod. Despite the fact that my other rod is long and heavy duty, I found it hard to determine if the first bits are smaller. The anchovies were also small so I could taste every bite even though the anchovies were small. A reel with two line spools was supplied with the reel. As I was reeling and pulling the rod perpendicular to the line my hook got caught on something twice. I reeled and pulled the line until it snapped off. There is no danger to the reel or rod. There was only one spinner and one tube jig that I lost.
Customer service is excellent. They helped me get a replacement part for a lost part free of charge. I'll update once I catch the bigger fish next time. I appreciate the exceptional customer service you provided to me, Alisa.

My grandson received this as a gift. The fact that he could shrink it down and pack it in his backpack made him happy. A large pole is a hassle. It is so much easier to use a small pole. Having never tried it before, he cannot wait to give it a try. As I have yet to try the pole out, I cannot tell how long it will last, but I will keep you posted. In fact, it is just what it claims to be. Also, we ordered the wrong size, this company was great to work with, it was easy to arrange a return for the new size, and we received it immediately. The world would be a much better place if all companies were so easy to do business I appreciate your help.

That's what I like about There is no noticeable drag on the reel, but it is very smooth. Flexible and strong, the rod is a good choice. I have nearly bent the entire thing I imagine a fishing pro (and/or snob) could find plenty of reasons to say this thing is terrible compared to a set that costs hundreds or more, but I cannot fault it in any shape or form.

The rod in this package is good, it works well, but it is not exactly the best. Having said that, the only problem is there is not enough grip on the handle when it I found the line in the package to be substandard, braided, and not usable at all. I kinked and knotted my spinner lure after 30 casts. Despite the reel being sturdy and smooth on cranking, the drag adjustment could be made better, and the second spool is sub-par. Lures could be omitted, since some people prefer them, but if you are a beginner it is not the best choice. As a whole, the package is adequate, but not at all a great deal.
