Yes, if by "cap" you mean the screw that holds the spool to the reel in place. Each spool is independent of the others. It remains tethered to the spool.
Yes, they make one; I purchased one when I purchased my 5/6 reel. They appear to be out of stock at the moment. Purchase a second 5/6 reel for the same price as the first. A CNC bar stock spare spool from one of five leading companies that is similar in appearance and made in the United States costs around $300.

Oh my - This reel is a lot of fun for me. br>br>This small 3 - Everything from teeny tiny bluegill to forearm has been caught on a weight reel. Trout up to 3 pounds, long largemouth bass. What a thrill it was to hook into such a diverse range of fish using relatively light tackle. I'll tell you what, though: this reel isn't for the faint of heart. It isn't a light weight. The drag provides just the right amount of resistance to tire out (but not break) a running rainbow. When paired with a nice 7, it's a match made in heaven. This 5' rod has provided me with many hours of enjoyment. br>br>For those times when I need it, I've loaded up the spare spool with sinking line. It blends in beautifully with the original reel, as expected. br>br>Lines that are too close together - moving on to the next memory Thank you very much!.
It's only been a little over two years since I started fly fishing. I don't have a lot of experience with different types of fly fishing gear. Due to my limited experience, I gave the Pisifun Sword 5/6 wt spare spool 4 stars. I did a lot of research and found this product to be extremely valuable. The Piscifun Sword 5/6 wt reel is another one of my possessions. Neither has let me down, and they've both put in excellent work. So, if you're a beginner looking for a quality product that won't break the bank, this is it. You can also upgrade with them, and they'll be a great backup if you do.
The drag system is comparable to reels costing twice as much. I bought the extra spool so that I can quickly switch from my 5wt rod to my 6wt rod (this reel/spool size works for both) without having to spend twice as much on two reels. I intend to purchase a few more so that I can keep a variety of fly lines rigged up - ie. I really like these Piscifun reels because they have a lot of different features like sinking line, floating line, different tapers, and so on.
It's not quite as good as my Orvis Battenkill disc, but it's a lot less expensive for a replacement or spare spool. br> Simple to switch between floating and sinking tip line; I wasn't familiar with Piscifun reels before, but they work well and look nice for the price.
I haven't put it out on the water yet, but I've loaded it up with line, played around with the drag, and practiced casting. The smoothness of this reel has me very impressed. Drag appears to be an effective method. One minor criticism is that the drag only requires a short distance to transition from light to heavy. I'd like to see the turn distance increase even more, as well as the ability to fine-tune the drag. For the money, this is a fantastic purchase.
Piscifun Sword fly reels and spools continue to impress me with their quality. I'm going to add a Sword 5/6 reel to my fly-fishing gear.
On my 9/10 TFO Esox rod, I have a Piscifun reel. With a floating line in the bay's shallows, and a sinking line just off the shelf, a spare spool covers it.
Loved it. For a river trip, I used it to go fishing. Cast and retrieve are simple. For the price, it's a great deal.
