Since nearly two decades, this has been my favorite reel

I purchased a OB- Galvan 3 SP GRN reel from nearly 20 years ago (I believe it is the most similar to this Galvin Ruch Green 3). In terms of smoothness and drag system, it was always my favorite reel. On a recent trip, I unfortunately bent the frame slightly. I realized I might be covered by my warranty, so I filed a claim. Galvin straightened, cleaned, and rebuilt the drag on the reel - The spindle and clutch ring need to be replaced. I only buy Galvin reels because of the high level of customer service they provide throughout their organization, and they make excellent products.
