So far, everything has gone well. This brand was purchased to replace a similar model that had a magnet fall out issue. This one has only been in my possession for a short time, but it performs flawlessly. Shortly after purchase, I put it through its paces on a week-long fishing trip, and it performed admirably. I wasn't sure I'd like the smaller magnet holders, but they didn't bother me, and the magnets themselves are extremely strong. The carabiner's design bothers me, so I gave it a one-star rating. To me, it appears to be flimsy. I swapped it out for a more durable model.
The magnet is just right in terms of strength. My old one was strong enough to hold my new long-handled net. This one does, but not to the point where it feels like it's about to rip my vest off. Although the carabiner is overkill, it is preferable to the alternative. I only gave it four stars because I've only used it four times and am waiting to see how well the retainer assembly holds up. Having said that, I'm considering ordering another!.
The magnet connects and disconnects quickly, but it's powerful enough that it's never come unintentionally disconnected while walking up and down the river or working my way through the woods.
The plastic-coated coil that attaches to the net and magnet is long enough to unhook and nett fish. When connected in the back, it is out of the way. This is a huge improvement over elastic cords, which can be quite long and inconvenient.
The FishPond Confluence was ordered by me, while the FishPond Confluence was ordered by my partner. The Piscifun is actually BETTER at what it does. The magnets always line up perfectly, forming a strong connection that can be released with a firm tug. Attaching or detaching does not require wrestling. It just WORKS. Thank you for creating such a wonderful product!.
I will warn you to watch how you connect, as the magnet will release at such a rate that it will pop your knuckles. br>br>I will warn you to watch how you connect, as the magnet will release at such a rate that it will pop your knuckles. br>br>I will warn you to watch how you connect, as the magnet will release at such a rate that you will pop your knuckles. br>br>A few of them come highly recommended!.
Magnet of excellent quality and strength. It also appears to be attractive.
The net is held in place by a strong magnet. The coiled cable extends a reasonable distance (arms length) from a sling bag (net clip at top of back position) without pulling. I replaced the split rings with stronger ones because they were too light. It's inexpensive enough to buy two for various mounting options.
