Questions & Answers
The taper has a heavier weight, which allows for a longer casting time.
Because the line floats on the water's surface, mending it is a breeze. The line also keeps the flies from being dragged away from the trout unnecessarily. It floats beautifully and is simple to remove from the water's surface. I like the line a lot.
The majority of fly lines range from 75 to 100 feet in length. 100 feet. When you back on the reel, you extend your range in case you hook a big fish. It also fills the interior of the reel. less likely to kink and more easily stripped

You always get what you pay for when it comes to price. I was already aware of this. When it comes to fishing, I would never trust a low-cost line. This brand's 8wt was purchased solely for casting practice with a spare spool, and it performs admirably. It flies better than the reel's original line, which has since been replaced.
I was pleasantly surprised by the Amazon Kast King Exergy lines. This should have been even better, but it wasn't. The tip sinks like a rock, and it doesn't cast well at all. I guess I'll order another Kast King line; at the very least, this one isn't too expensive.
This is the second time I've purchased this item (this time in a different color). I swapped out my old line for this one and was pleasantly surprised at how well it cast and spooled onto the reel. I decided to get a second one for my other rod after several fishing trips. At that price, it's better than you'd expect.
The line for the 8wt snapped at the loop's weld. This is my first time. I would not recommend this product.
Since 1970, I've been fly fishing, and in the beginning, I bought the cheapest fly line I could find. I only recently attempted to purchase better line, and this line is useless for casting. I'm wearing myself out trying to use it, so I reverted to the old stuff, and it casts with ease despite the cuts and nicks.
According to my opinion, this is the best fly line available. I've been fly fishing for a long time and have experimented with a number of high-end fly lines. These lines (of which I own several in various weights) offer the best value. Period. They cast well, handle well, and last as long as or longer than many of the more expensive "premium" lines available. You will not be let down if you try this line.
This is how the spool got clogged up. This is complete garbage. It had twist ties on it that were apparently added after it became tangled. I persuaded myself to purchase this low-cost line, but now I'm not so sure.
Hey all. br>br>During the first practice session with it, this line worked well. The line is extremely well-made, and it casts beautifully. br>br>The packaging was excellent, and it did not kink on the reel! br>br>I'll have to wait and see how it performs on the water, but so far it's been great. br>br>The taper was enough to get my Greys GS2 to flex just right, and I was able to throw some fantastic loops at distances well beyond my normal casting ranges.
