I think the rod case is a nice size for storage and portability, and it also looks great. I like the look of this rod, it is well balanced, and the rod itself is pretty nice. In terms of reel quality (I dropped the reel on the ground twice before and it still works great with just minor cosmetic damage), and the included flies and case are nice. I have taken it out on the Sandy River twice since I received it, and it has been performing with no problems. Although I have not yet caught anything on it, it casts remarkably I would recommend it to a beginner or someone who wants a larger rod without spending a lot of money! Please note P. This item also comes with a lifetime warranty, but you should be aware that (at the time of this writing) it costs $35 to make a warranty claim with Wild Water, and then you must pay shipping as well. The result is still better than buying a new rod, but the offer is not free like the description suggests. The first update is available "

After updating the rod with an extra-strong, I took the rod out on Sandy this past weekend to test it out again I used a sinking leader of 14' and some articulating loop leech flies. There were a few large ones on the line The rod brought in scale suckers like a dream, and when I finally hook a steelhead, I imagine I'll be able to bring it in without too much difficulty. I still love.

I wanted something to hold a salmon in Alaska, since I am a beginner. I found this to be a very reliable rig. The number of times has been many. However, when I was hanging on a rock for the last fish before leaving, the last section of the hook fell off. When the line broke, the last section fell into the Kenai River, causing the rest to disappear forever!.

I really like the smooth rod I got

The rod is everything I had hoped it would be. My 8 weight steely rod has been out west for a long time and I had to switch to a lighter one of these when I moved to the east coast. It casts smoothly, looks great, and gives decent sized fish plenty of room I received it ahead of schedule, and all the components were in great shape. I cannot think of any better deal I could have asked for for the money.
