Questions & Answers
Neither a weight nor a marking are visible on the rod, but I think it is a five-weight. Five times five yard leaders and five times five yard tippet line are included. In addition to fly fishing as a retirement hobby, I am also impressed with the quality and price of this product. So far I have no experience with fly fishing (my plans have been derailed by the virus precautions), but I am intrigued by the quality.
In essence, you are rewarded with double accessories and some tippets when buying the Deluxe version. Fly fishing kits are worth the extra 15 dollars if you are new to the sport, but if you already have most of your necessities, the regular kit will do. Those two factors would allow you to be on the water the day you receive them. Despite its price, it comes with a relatively poor amount of flies, the nymphs are not substantial, the black ants are not the greatest, but the Adams are great. No matter what, you're going to enjoy it, just like I enjoy my seven
Yes, I do! All our reels are equipped with spare spools. Purchasing them directly from Wild Water is the only way to obtain them.
It is unclear. Despite the low price, the quality of the product is reasonable, especially the customer service. One of my rod sections broke and they replaced it no Also, I own a Wild Water Outfit from Orvis and prefer it to my encounter outfit.

The Wildwater Deluxe Fly Rod Outfit was well worth the money I spent, what a beautiful and high quality fly rod and reel, I was so over the moon when it arrived I felt stunned at the quality, I could not believe it for what it was. A reminder
Update Just got back from fishing just across the road from my house just on the 22nd of July 2016, and I couldn't be happier about that! Angling for my first rainbow trout on this fly rod and reel, i caught a 2. 2lb rainbow trout with her, so she is no longer a virgin rod and reel. The line followed the curve of the rod through the line guides in a perfect fluid motion. So that just go to show what a great rod this is. I sure do like it. You will not regret spending any money.
Since this is the first fly rod I've ever used, my opinion isn't worth anything just yet. However, when my neighbor (who fishes) tried it out, A further plus was the fantastic customer service we received! Despite having a deadline for getting the item before a fishing trip, the seller went out of her way to make sure the item was delivered on time. I will definitely deal My fly line got caught in the vacuum cleaner, so I broke the top portion of the rod into three pieces. *UPDATE 12/13/13
. . . now for an update, I managed to break my fly line in the vacuum cleaner. Since I have been fishing almost every day, I was very upset as I really wanted to keep my rod intact. So, I emailed Wild Water and they immediately sent me a new section of rod. It took about three days for me to get it. A total of $15 was incurred. You don't want to miss these people! The rod is composed of the following components There is a decent amount of action to this In the end, it's not about good or bad, but what suits your preferences. My friend used his new Orvis set up, and it was much slower than mine. Fishing for bass is largely based on where you want to fish and the kind of fishing you enjoy. As you may have noticed, the Orvis set up costs close to $325, and it does not include flies, boxes, or I've seen better deals for around $100, but this is still the best It is easy to use and I have fished with it on both running and flat water.
This is an amazing deal considering it comes with line, a decent reel, a rod (even a fly box and other accessories), so I would say it's pretty adequate for small stream, river, or lake fishing and for general purpose freshwater fishing as well. The gear I used worked great to land a brown trout about 20 inches long yesterday in my local stream! There is a tiny bit of weight difference between this rod and the $750 Sage rods and related equipment I usually purchase, but I think it's fair considering the price. The line is fine, the reel is fine. Your local shop will charge you close to $75 or more if you buy a high quality line by Rio or Scientific Anglers. Just the line costs a little over $100. The reel will probably cost around $200. It must be at least $200. With all the gear that you get with this purchase, it is an amazing package. I have been fly fishing for a long time and I normally purchase more expensive gear, but the virus has not allowed people to shop at local retail outlets.
In the end, I don't think there is an option that is better for someone looking to get into fly fishing than the combination of price and lifetime warranty replacement. As a birthday gift, I gave my son a fly setup. It is hard for me to figure out what to buy since I am not a fly fisherman. In order to shop around, I spoke to a friend who gave me the basics. Aside from the "big box" hunting and fishing outfitter stores in Michigan, I looked at what smaller outfitters have to offer. There are mixed reviews for both setups, and I was hesitant to pick either one. My eyes were drawn to the Wild Water combos on Amazon. Having read a few reviews here and elsewhere, it seems as if all claims are true. My next step was to reach out to Wild Water for advice and I was very satisfied with their response As my son's buddy, he gave him a couple of casting lessons and helped him set up the rod. On the following day, we tried it out on a river and my son taught me what he had I find the rod to be pretty well balanced, and it casts well. The fishing session started with a chub fish caught a few casts in. The only fish that I saw in that bend of the river was that one. However, I think this rod will serve him well. I plan to buy a larger model when the big ones start showing up.
Rod of outstanding quality. The fly rod in question is my second I bought the first one at a deep discount A $40 check. There is a noticeable difference in my body. Compared to the Wild Water rod, the latter is so much lighter, better made, and casting is butter smooth. This purchase has been very satisfying to me. My teen son will love this item to help him learn.
As soon as I opened it, I saw the handle didn't have a groove to slide the reel's feet My email to the company was received on Mother's Day, no matter, and a response was received nearly immediately. The new handle arrived after sending back and forth a few photos. I have already used it a couple of times and I don't regret it. It was a pleasure dealing with your company and I was very impressed with your customer service. Since high quality control standards would have prevented the defective part from being shipped, I have not given five stars. In spite of these limitations, the service I received and the product that I purchased were both excellent. There are a lot of products from Wild Water that I highly recommend.
It comes with this rod. As an amateur fly fisher, I am new to the sport. After thirty minutes of casting with this rod and a more experienced fisherman, I was catching fish without any problem at all. I was with someone who had a setup worth several hundred dollars and this was quite comparable to the feel and action of theirs. With this, I am very impressed.
Fishing with the flies that came with it has already produced many blue gills. There is only one con to this reel, and that is that it has been When you set the reel down to a thread line, you may have exposed the aluminum since scratches occur. However, I am happy with it other than that. The price is reasonable.
