A medium is the same as a size 10 in a girls' dress.
Because my son is ten years old and has a long torso and arms, I went up a size; otherwise, I believe it is true to size.
It isn't lined in any way. We had a sports bra on underneath ours.
It isn't the case. However, I purchase a sports bra for her to wear underneath it. Lined or unlined options are available. And I'm not concerned if you can see through it; for example, her one sports bra is black and white under armour, but you could see through it if it was a two-piece under it with a lot of bright colors. The color scheme and fit were both appealing.

I received the swim shirt in cyan in size large today and was taken aback when I took it out of the package. It was incredibly small. It appears to be designed for a toddler rather than an 11-year-old girl. I've included images to show the difference. Last summer, I bought a Speedo rash guard in a large size for my daughter.
My daughter needed a shirt to help protect her from the sun while we were in Florida. The Speedo shirt is not only stylish, but it is also well-made and did an excellent job of shielding her from the Florida sun's scorching rays. It is something I strongly suggest.
The product appeared to be of good quality, but it fit more like a t-shirt than a swim rash guard, so I returned it because the fit was not what my daughter wanted.

This is a colossal amount of information. My 8-year-old daughter is frail. old. She wears a size 8 in most cases. It hung all the way down past her tush, about even with her wrists when she had her arms at her sides.
I'll have to go out and buy something else. Dtr was smitten by the material's colors and feel. Cute too.
