My eight-year-old daughter recently joined the YMCA swim team and needed a rash guard for both regular practice and hanging out around the pool. She has a few rash guards from various clothing companies, but as a swimmer, I knew she needed something more durable and well-fitting for her swims. So we went down a size, and the rashguard fits her perfectly without causing drag in the water, protects her skin, keeps her slightly warmer than she would be without it, and she likes it.
For any outdoor pool, this is a must-have accessory. My kids like them, and I can apply sunscreen to their faces, necks, and legs.
Because the trip was in March, I was warned that the water would be cold (or at least colder than what I was used to in the summer), so I bought this to keep warm, and it did. The water was extremely cold in the mornings, and without this, I would not have been able to swim (needless to say, even with the rash guard, my lips were white from the cold). br>br>It has excellent stitching, so it will last a long time and withstand some wear and tear. It's incredibly comfortable, and unlike some other rearguards, it doesn't irritate your skin. It also dries quickly, which was convenient because I only had it for a few hours before I needed to use it again. Overall, this is a fantastic product that I would enthusiastically recommend to a friend or even a complete stranger!.
This was bought for a 7-year-old boy. 8 girls, but she is shorter than average, so the sleeves were a little long and the length was excessive, but that was to be expected. A standard size 8 girl should be able to wear it comfortably. It was of good quality. We like it a lot.
My daughter is seven years old, but I purchased a small for her based on the recommendations of others. The shirt itself was a perfect fit, but the sleeves were excessively long. They're the same length as my arms, and I'm 5'6' tall. I'll have to cut and hem the sleeves to make them fit my daughter, which I don't think I should have to do for $25.
It's very nice, my daughter likes it a lot, it keeps her cool, and it dries quickly, so we're happy.
I didn't want anything that was cinched around my waist. Excellent craftsmanship. Because I didn't want anything to be too tight, this is ideal.
I bought this for my daughter to use at swim practice because it contains less sunblock and does the job.
