Everything from glue to tape has been tried. On my boat, they don't hold up very well as fenders.
I don't think this is meant to be filled with water because it's intended to be used to mark and retrieve an anchor, but if you need to calculate weight, simply calculate the volume of a sphere in gallons and multiply by 8. Simple math or "hey Google, how many gallons does he have in a 26" sphere?"
I used a needle to finish. The screw was pierced by it.

I bought this bag, filled it with water, and hung it from the ceiling of my garage with a rope, and it works perfectly as an AquaBag knockoff. Granted, these buoys are identical to the aquabag, but they lack the attractive design, chain link, hook, and water spout. But it's $100 less expensive, and because it's filled with water, the energy doesn't travel into the ceiling; instead, it stays inside the water, which greatly helps the ceiling out. Anyway, just wanted to give you a heads up. For the 15" bag, I paid $41. When fully loaded, it weighs around 75 pounds.
" In my garage, I used this to make a less expensive "aqua bag. " It's been a great addition to the house and has stood up to several rounds of bag time; installation was a breeze; definitely read previous reviews for a list of parts required. To hang, I used a bike cable, a mounting bracket, and a spring. has done a fantastic job! The bag has a nice feel to it, a little more supple than a heavy bag, but you'd be crazy to hit without wraps and gloves. Your wrists and hands will be completely destroyed. br>br>I've thrown at full speed, laid Muy Thai kicks, and so on with no problems. With a small brass hose adapter, filling up was a breeze, and it always gets a few quick jabs from friends heading to the fridge for a beer. Overall, this was an excellent purchase that has lasted for months. Grab one!.
Paid $50. It's a lot better than 120. A true hydrobag costs $150. It's big enough for me to throw solid punches, but it's also small enough to move around. It appeals to my tastes. Simply put, if you want power, have someone hold it. If you want to improve your movement, go at it alone and work around it. It was simple to fill up. br>br> A flathead screwdriver, a water hose, and an old-school cone nozzle are all you'll need. It can hold up to 75 lbs. of food.
br>I purchased three buoys, two of which had pinhole seam leaks right out of the box. They obviously don't test these after they've been manufactured because these leaks are impossible to miss!.
I used it as a wave bag for Martial Arts training after filling it with water. It was half the cost of a wave bag! To fill the bag, I used a 1/2" female garden hose repair kit like this one.
This was also used as a substitute for the aqua bag when boxing. I just got this set up, so I can't comment on the durability, but the rubber appears to be very thick and robust, and I was able to fill it (mostly) in my laundry room sink with a funnel after a little maneuvering. Just remember to be patient when filling up because there is only one hole and air must escape as water exits. Also, because the bag is fully deflated and compacted when it arrives, try to work the rubber to soften it up a little during the filling process (this will make it easier to fill with water). Much better value than the aqua bags on this site, which cost twice as much and are constructed in the same way.
for the purpose of hitting I bought this with the intention of using it as a punching bag, but it has a hole in it, and when I fill it up with water, the water leaks out. I know this isn't supposed to be a water punching bag, but I was hoping for the best. lol. Nonetheless, because it can't hold air, I'll be returning it.
Overall, this is exactly what we ordered, but in comparison to the ones we received elsewhere, I'm a little disappointed. They're a smidgeon smaller and a smidgeon less vibrant than the others. Still highly rated, but I thought it was a little less visible in comparison.
