Questions & Answers

How far does the first screw extend from the tube's OD?

it is 7. The distance between the tube's OD and the first hole's center is 5 cm.

My pontoon's side gate is where I'll be mounting. How is it folded up after it has been mounted? Is it going to be necessary to open the side gate?

It's made to be laid flat on the deck. To deploy and store, the gate would have to be open. I wouldn't put it on the side gate, based on how I read your question. I hope this information is useful.

What are the top-of-the-house dimensions?

215 9MM

Is it possible to mount this transom flat?

You can mount it to the tansom if you want to. The ladder can be set up in most parts if the foot of the ladder is firmly mounted.

It's much better than a tuna net for fat guys
5/5

I don't write reviews, so this company should be grateful; I'm a big guy who weighs 325 pounds. Swimming off my boat is one of my favorite things to do, aside from eating and loving my wife and kids. My most recent-to-be-added-to-my-collection A two-step ladder was on my boat. I considered using a winch and tuna net to lift my bowed frame out of the water, but this would have resulted in a lot more boat add-ons that didn't make financial sense. Is it possible for me to lose weight the hard way? Sure, but I went in the opposite direction. a gentler and more straightforward approach This ladder was purchased by me. It is flawless in every way. If you're on the Niagara River and see a big fat guy floating by eating a sandwich and cake, you'll know that thanks to this fine boat ladder, this 4xl man can get back into his boat and get more food.

No problem if you're short, fat, disabled, or just want to live a simple life! This ladder is the perfect match for my 2003 Bayliner Bowrider 175 IO
5/5

I'm 5'1" and one day the waves were so large that I couldn't get into my boat. Last year, I bought this ladder and got rid of my old one. After a year of use, rough weather, forgetting to put it up once, and a variety of people's sizes, I can confidently state that they are sturdy, well-built shoes with no signs of rust or wear. I like it even more because it is at a slight angle and does not swing in when you step onto it from the water. the direction of the boat This is the ladder for you if you are short, disabled, or suffer from a bad back or knee.

This is an excellent ladder option
5/5

I needed to purchase a ladder for my boat because the two-step ladder was no longer adequate. My wife and I are both 61 years old and no longer as agile as we once were. After seeing this ladder and reading the reviews, I decided to purchase it. The first review I read was from a 4xl man who enjoys swimming in the Niagara River while eating cake and sandwiches and is overjoyed that he can now return to his boat for more food thanks to this ladder! I've never read a better review than this one. And it was on the basis of this man's advice that I purchased this ladder. This ladder is exactly what he said it is! It only takes a few minutes to put it together, it works great, and it can hold up to 900 pounds. It's also visually appealing. This is the most sensible choice you can make.

It's well-made and simple to put together
5/5

The goal of this purchase, as stated by other reviewers, was to make it easier to climb back into the boat after swimming. This was installed on a Boston Whaler Montauk 17 to replace the boat's single step. This ladder had to be mounted out a little further than the previous one in order to clear stern mounted hardware, but there was still plenty of platform surface to bolt into. I installed using existing bolts, which I intend to replace with new, longer bolts and larger washers. I'm around 180 pounds and can stand on the ladder on land, bounce vigorously, and it feels very solid. Unless the finish and performance fail in the water, I've found this ladder to be well-made and a good fit for my requirements.

It's a very sturdy piece of equipment that's also very easy to use
5/5

This simplifies our boating life; we are both elderly and found it difficult to get out and in of our previous boat; however, with this one, we have solved our problem; it is large enough.

Excellent ladder
4/5

There are no instructions provided. The ladder was of excellent quality. There were no mounting instructions or bolts included. Because the manufacturer does not know the thickness of your swim platform or hull, I understand why there are no mounting bolts. My ladder was fairly simple, but anyone who uses it (it's made of stainless steel (ss)) should use ss mounting hardware rather than galvanized. Because I couldn't reach the drilled holes where the mounting bolts protruded through the swim platform, my installation was a bit of a challenge. My socket wrench had to be duct taped to a 3-foot pole. I used a foot pipe to hold the locking nut in place while my helper torqued the bolt from the topside; it went on smoothly. We required a longer ladder. With only a 2-person boat, getting into it was becoming more difficult as I grew older. a stepping stool.

That's good enough for me! Holds my 338 lbs just fine! I'm not one to leave reviews, but this ladder is fantastic! I attached it to the front of our pontoon so that when we're in the water, we can board from the front
5/5

I'm 338 pounds, and as I climbed it, it didn't budge. br>br>I was planning on ordering another one for the side, but the price has increased by $25 in the week since I purchased mine; however, it is still less expensive than other options and well worth it.

Ladder of exceptional quality This is a high-quality construction
5/5

The design is fantastic. Although the seller specifies that this item is intended for boat use only, it also works well as an emergency dock ladder in the event that someone falls into the water and needs to get out quickly. I live on Puget Sound, where the temperature is consistently around 55 degrees all year. I secured it in a vertical position by bolting it through 2x6 decking. If you need it while in the water, simply reach out and pull it towards you, and it will extend, allowing you to exit the cold water safely and quickly. When it's not in use, it's also kept out of the saltwater. This product comes highly recommended!.
