With limited fender tie-downs, I'm using a 23' center console. off the beaten path 2 GemLux cleats have been added to the front of the midfield. I purchased 6 DLFender adjusters to ship that match OEM - 3 on each side – We can now successfully fender off with our larger friends' boats, and it also works well for tying off at lunch or at fuel stops. br>br>To make the adjustment, simply thread the fender line through the small hole in the tube, out the other side by the triangle, slide into the triangle locker, and pull down. In about 3 seconds, raise to the rubrail or lower to the water level. Our 6-year-old G-d thought it was so simple. It's that simple. My son is in charge of these.
My boat was docked on a busy waterway for a week while I was on vacation. Adding fenders to the rocket launchers was a simple and quick way to increase their protection. They adjust quickly and appear to be long-lasting. (This is a substantial piece of material. ) ) In a heartbeat, I'd purchase them again.
They are incredibly simple to adjust and keep the line in place no matter where you place it. The only drawback is that they must be used with a rod holder in order to be effective, but that is exactly why I purchased them!.
My wife has trouble with knots, so when the weather changes and we have to switch from port to starboard docking, she becomes frustrated, anxious, and irritated with me because the wind changed direction or whatever. If you don't have access to a convenient rail to tie off to or don't want to use a cleat, these are ideal. Plus, every time she has to grab her "fender phallus," it gives her a chuckle. Now, my first mate is satisfied, which means I am satisfied, and the one-time fee pays for itself many times over. These things are great if you don't have rails in the right places on your boat.
Give no more than 5 stars. stars on a regular basis. These are fantastic (I purchased a pair of them). pack). The rod holders in the aft quarters are perfect for these. They've been slotted to grab the holder's base. They are no match for my 1st Mate (wife)! They are popular among friends. sturdy enough to grab and pull the boat to the dock, or to use as a grab to assist passengers on and off the boat I would strongly suggest it. For the best deal, look for them at boat shows.
Fenders are an excellent addition to the boat, and setting them out is simple to ask the wife or a friend to do. I have four rod holders on each side of my 22-foot boat, so it would be better if they came in a set of three.
There is nothing else like it on the market. Fits into any rod holder and then transforms into a simple to use fender deployer.
This is a fantastic product. These additions make it easier for me to get into a slip for mooring when I'm on my own boat. I can easily bring them in and out and store them. I'd say they're a little pricey, but they're well-made.
