It doesn't say type3, but it looks and feels exactly like the one I had in the Army. It has 7 inner strands, not one of which is a different color.
Unless it's rubbing and starting to shear, it should be fire for a few years.
The breaking load of 550 paracord is 550 pounds. The working load limit is calculated by multiplying the breaking load by the safety factor required for your application.

Is the best paracord because it's stiff, easy to work with, and the colors are exactly as they should be. The only criticism I have is that it takes about 15 minutes to untangle a 100' hank when you first receive it. If you could just do a "butterfly hank," where you do figure 8s around two stationary objects before wrapping the last 10-foot length around them, that would be great. It's 20 feet in front of you, and it's 20 feet in back of you. It leaves an inner tag line that you can pull to undo the entire line neatly. This is how I usually keep all of my cordage, or I use a flat spool. I used to make paracord bracelets, lanyards, gun slings, bow yokes, and a variety of other items out of it. There are numerous companies that produce 550 paracord knockoffs.
I'm a paracord fanatic with a lot more to learn. As you may be aware, there are a slew of paracord brands and sellers to choose from. I've tried a few to determine the difference between real and commercial grade unknowns. If you do your research, there are a lot of unknowns from a lot of sellers claiming theirs is the best, but I digress I'm very happy and well satisfied with my 2nd purchase, and I'm not being compensated for this honest review, I'm just blown away by there customer service and true count of length of what you order, such a relief to know that what's coming to you is what you ordered, I can't tell you of any issues with there paracord or their You have everything to gain by putting your faith in a brand that is known for providing excellent customer service rather than God.
For ham radio, I'm stringing a dipole antenna between trees with this paracord. It's definitely sturdy; I had a tree fall on it and it didn't shatter. That was impressive; however, my two complaints are that it kinks badly and that a butterfly wrap would be nice because it tangled into a mess as soon as the packaging was removed. Trying to straighten the paracord out was a nightmare because it kept kinking. In any case, over the next year, we'll see how well it stands up to UV light and weather. Although the product appears to be of high quality, expect to spend some time untangling it. I butterfly wrapped a 100 foot strand (purchased 2), which greatly aided deployment outside.
This is a great paracord that I've used for a variety of projects and keeps in my truck's toolbox because you never know when you'll need it. The cordage is made up of an outer sheath and multiple thin nylon inner cords, which can be fused together with a lighter.
This is by far the worst paracord I've ever encountered while making bracelets. The Manny Method fusion is extremely frustrating because the paracord does not thread well into the needle's end. Most of the time, after pulling it through the other thread, I only get the inside threads and not the entire paracord; I've done this method many times and can usually do it quickly, but it's a frustrating process that I've had to walk away from on occasion. It would probably make excellent paracord for any other purpose, but don't use it to make bracelets!.
Shoulder loops are used as "patrol colors" by my son's scouting group. " This cord came in handy for that project, and the boys also have a length of rope with them for tying knots and other emergency needs. " This is easy to cut and fuse with a lighter. In a pinch, the inner strings can be used as fishing line or for other purposes.
It's also available in a variety of hues. I was given the nickname "Flo. " It's a bright yellow color. I'm going to buy it once more.
