Questions & Answers
The applicator tip, I believe, will not be able to push the check balls into the ports. The oil, on the other hand, is fantastic.
Yes, it is, and it is one of the best lubricants available.
I'm not sure if there was a seal under the cap. If you haven't already, I'd suggest doing so. My oil worked perfectly on my reels and I had no problems with it.
I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work.

Lucas produces high-quality lubricants, and Lucas Oil Product 10690 Fishing Reel Oil is no exception. You can extend the life of your reel by applying it to bearings and pivot points. Look up OutFishing13 on YouTube to learn how to use the various lubes with your reels and when to use them. br>br>The primary purpose of this review is to demonstrate the shipping. This reel oil was packaged in a box and bagged. There was no leakage, but it would have been contained if there had been. If you're worried about leaking oil, don't wait to order this reel oil. My package was in perfect condition when it arrived, but your mileage may vary. Best wishes to you.
The first order leaked all over the box, and the replacement did as well, but after speaking with Amazon, they refunded my money and let me keep whatever was left in the bottle, which wasn't much, so I decided to try the little that was left on my reel. At first, it worked fine, but after a day, my reels that had it on began to sieze up as a result of it. Also, because it's such a thin liquid, it drips, and if you fish like I do in the middle of a river, it'll end up in the water, which can't be good for the fish, so I'll just stick to my old lubricant, which has served me well in the past.
You cannot go wrong with Lucas Oil. Lucas has served me well in my car, golf cart, motorcycle, fishing reels, rifles, and a variety of other applications. Great product, especially for fishing reels, because it stays thin and doesn't clog up the gears.
It was smooth as silk and quiet after a few drops of this, just like the new ones I purchased. br>If you put a drop in each lube point, your reels will last a lifetime.
It is possible to lubricate without completely disassembling the system. Lucas products are known for adhering to industry standards and being sourced from high-grade petroleum rather than "what's left over" sources. It was well worth the money. After inheriting two of my fathes reels, I was able to free up a lot of space. I used to play with them when I was seven years old. Now that I'm 62 years old, I'd like to share some of my life experiences with you. I used it on two newly purchased reels and slicked them up as well. br>It's something I'd strongly suggest. Considering everything, it's a great deal.
I had to disassemble the entire reel and replace the hardened grease that had accumulated over 50 years. The reel feels super smooth and new after reassembling it with Lucas oil product. I really like the synthetic lube made specifically for fishing reels. The needle applicator makes applying lube precisely where you want it a breeze.
If it arrives in good condition, that is! This reel oil has always appealed to me because of how simple it is to apply the correct amount to the correct location. That is, assuming you receive the product in one piece, including the needle! br>This could have been packaged much better; it appears that they tossed it in a box and then tossed in the packing material. br>It was a huge letdown!.
Good oil is a must for good equipment. The applicator is fantastic because it can precisely pinpoint where it should be applied. Although the bottle appears to be small, I have already completed a dozen reels and have yet to dent it. This is fantastic.
