This is the first spool of the first line of the first spool of the first spool of the er I've ever owned, but I'm pretty sure it'll be my last; the fact is, this thing is a beast with fantastic build quality. Very strong and stable. It takes some getting used to fitting your line spools into the clamp, but it otherwise works flawlessly. I believe you could drive a truck right through it and it would still be fine. This line spools up nicely for me. er should be considered among the very best. br>UPDATE: So, after using the line spooler for a few weeks and going through a difficult period, I came across something that I believe is worth mentioning. I've made a video that explains what I've discovered.

Now it's been 16 months. necessitated a re-evaluation spool ten reels, all of which have been ruined by the storm They were between the ages of eight and eighteen. From lb test spinning reels to 80 lb test deep sea reels, there's a reel for every situation. This is almost never a pleasurable experience! It's simply too time consuming, and it almost always results in tangled line, especially with spinning reels. That task was made a lot easier and more bearable thanks to this handy tool. It only takes one or two reels to learn the proper speed for the spool to rotate at. The line, on the other hand, winds quickly and evenly, with no tangles. I expected to be able to fit my spinning reels on the device, but I never anticipated being able to mount a 9/0 Penn Senator. It was no problem for it, and it made adding 700 yards of 80 lb braid a breeze. Compared to the old method of spooling from a pencil or having someone hold the spool and apply thumb tension to the line as the reel is turned, the spool is densely packed. It would be perfect if they could just automate the reel to turn in some way so that they don't have to crank 700 yards by hand!!.

I was initially disappointed by the lack of untwisting ability on bait casting or flat reels, despite the fact that it was excellent for spinning reels. A tight, even wrap was achieved by carefully positioning the reel to correspond with reel motion (clockwise/counterclockwise). This product is far more efficient and simple to use than any other I've ever used. Please accept my apologies for a poor, hasty first review.

I finally had a chance to try it out, and it is by far the best reel spooling device I've ever used. Because of the gimbal action on this thing, spooling a spinning reel as well as a bait caster is a breeze. It reduces line twist by spinning the spool as it unwinds, which is preferable to having a dancing spool of line turn into a knot on the floor or become an unintentional cat or dog toy. I recommend watching a YouTube video on how to set it up before using it. It didn't make sense to me at first, but once I saw someone do it, it was a piece of cake. The only thing I wish it had was a line counter so I could keep track of how many lines I was adding.

Design is brilliant. This instrument is well worth the money it costs. I've re- Since receiving this, I've spooled all of my reels (over a dozen) and it consistently produces perfect results. You can easily load line by adjusting the line tension to the desired level. With the same ease of use, it can be used with monofilament, fluorocarbon, and braid. The fresh line spool rotates with the unavoidable factory memory or curl (for spin cast reels), allowing the line to go onto the reel with the same curl or memory as it came off the factory spool. You'll spend more time stripping old line than you will re-installing new line in this simple one-person operation. If you're dealing with the dreaded "re-spool" problem, spooling new line is the way to go. Get one of these if you're into "spooling. ".

You're on your own. Before I got this, my wife had to hold the spool with a lot of tension. I usually spool about 300 yards of yarn, so it takes a while, but this device makes it possible for me to do it all by myself. It does, however, have a few flaws. To begin with, setting up the spool and reel is not simple. The instructions should be used as a one-to-one guide; the images in the instructions aren't great, so get that down before spoiling anything. Then there's the spool of line mount, which will never secure the line while also allowing it to rotate freely, as those two things are mutually exclusive on this tool. To finish the job properly, you'll need to find the sweet spot of tightness.

This spooler did everything it said it would do. Before going to Canada for a week of fishing, I relined my reels. During all of my heavy casting and many fish, I did not have a single bird's nest. This spooler is far superior to the old-fashioned horizontal winding method. The device is well-made and eliminates line twists. Everything you'll need (except the line) is included, so you'll be ready to go as soon as you arrive. If I needed it, I could easily pack it in my tackle box. For all serious anglers, this is a must-have item.

This was demonstrated on several of the YouTube fishing channels to which I subscribe. I made my decision based on the advice of these knowledgeable and experienced anglers. I was spooling up my reels with fresh line in less than 5 minutes after receiving the Piscifun Fishing Line Winder, which took far less time and caused no line twist than the old fashioned way. I highly recommend the Piscifun Fishing Line Winder. For all anglers, it's an excellent invention.
