Questions & Answers
For lake trout fishing, I bought the 3 lb test.
mono
The only option is to use service spools. At 70 degrees Fahrenheit or even 90 degrees Fahrenheit, the line will not degrade indoors. I've had my spools for a few years and used to commercially fish, so I buy them when they go on sale in advance. I've never had a problem with weak spots, and snags always cause the line to break 2 inches or more from the knot.
A bulk spool of 25 pound test can hold 2630 yards of yarn.

Since the early 1980s, I've only used max, 4lb for crappies perch, 5lb on all my noodle rods for fish weighing 5 to 10 lbs, 8 lb for medium rods for Lake Michigan kings (salmon) tipits on fly rod, and I'm not alone, hundreds of fishermen have switched to this line, remember you get what you pay for, great steelhead river line, thanks for a great product.
Nothing compares to the superior capabilities of Maxima fishing line as a main line and leader, making it a must-have for harsh, clear water conditions.
I'm glad I bit the bullet and bought it because it's great stuff at a great price. There'll be enough mono for years.
Excellent Quality.
There should be enough line to last a long time, but one in every pound test is required right now.
For my 9/0s, this is a fantastic main line.
