DURABLE: The hook is made of Nitric 50 stainless steel and it has three prongs. The shaft is made of 5mm carbon fiber for a rust-free, ultra-strong build.
RELIABLE: Even when wet, the textured, non-slip grip provides a secure grip for the user.
VERSATILITY: The handle is made to fit most rod holders.

Is it able to float? Do you have a strap or a place where you could put one?

It doesn't float, but I would recommend 100%. It has a spot on the end where you can attach a strap; I used paracord, which worked perfectly. It comes with a rubber cover for the attached hook.
