Is the total length 1 1/2" or just the spike, and what are the screw hole dimensions?

Klein climbing gaffs are compatible with these. These aren't tree gaffs, which are much longer. They're for climbing utility poles.

Will these work with spurs from other manufacturers?

I'm not sure, but I have a pair of Kleins.
