My experience with it was very poor, I used it for walleye. It feels like I've been taken for a ride! In the end, I found it to be useless for its sole use as a fillet knife, so I threw it in a drawer so it would remain Using the same method for turkey and roast beef worked for me. Yet again, the device is underpowered and useless.
It is unfortunate that the handle broke. Zip-lock bags are included with all of the knives. They are shipped directly from the factory in this manner. It is impossible for me to get a replacement I can refund you a small amount of $8, if that is helpful to you. Bob, I apologize for the inconvenience
I used it for the first time and it broke right away. My husband did not use the item until fishing season beyond 30 days, so he could not get a refund. This is not worth the effort.
There are only two cord lengths I have one is about eight feet long and one is about ten feet long. I still consider it the best electric filleting knife I have ever

To start, this is a great product. I've cleaned over 750 bass with it in the past two months. I've done it mostly with I'm still using the first set of blades, which have held up quite It has a long cord. There are some cons I have been holding it together with duct tape since the female clip connecting the alligator clips to the knife broke off. Still works perfectly. Approximately a month after getting it, the on/off button started intermittently sticking, to the extent that you sometimes have to use the lock button to get it out If you are the type of guy who fillets bass on his jeep's bumper and can use duct tape and fix glitches, this knife will serve you well. As consumables, these items are not durable. Gears slip), it may work out to 1 cent per pound).
Despite being brand new, the blades weren't as sharp as I expected, and they got worse pretty quickly as I cut through the crappie rib cage. As I was filleting crappie, the knife would get a bit warm after about 15 fish, and would really struggle to cut through the rib cages. As soon as the switch started acting intermittently after approximately 8 months of use, I thought it might be dirty. A couple of times I tried to fillet some fish and it kept cutting off after a couple of cuts. There was no difference in the connection, so I thought it might be the connection. Tapping the switch would start it for a moment or two, but then it would shut concerned that fish debris might have got into the switch, so I disassembled the knife to find out that the switch was not the issue because I bypassed it by connecting the inputs with a screwdriver and everything worked fine. Then I pulled out the Fluke multimeter and started to find out where the power was being cut off. Using a pencil, I sliced through the insulation around the connections to the motor itself and found a poor connection for the red wire. Taking apart the guts and resoldering the bad connection, I blew the guts apart. Perhaps if it has a better connection at the power input, it will be more powerful. Poor because it is not something I use on a regular basis, so it may have failed after 10 to 15 Considering that the Rapala kit's blades seem kinda dull, it does not seem to be better.
Living a retired life for five days a week is a benefit. With this knife, the problem with the on/off switch is fixed, so I don't need to adjust it (like I had to adjust knife #3). Having purchased this item, I am very satisfied with it.
As a gift I bought this for my husband during the Christmas season. However, once spring fishing began, he tried to use it, and it did We had a problem in that no one will take the item back, and the 30-day warranty had We were both disappointed that his gift did not work, and he was also disappointed that he could not get a replacement from the brand he usually likes.
After a short time, the cigarette smoker on the 110V AC adapter started smoking. Your money will not be wasted.
I used the second blade for cleaning and processing my game, and the third for cooking. I have not had any problems with it.
Attempting to filet catfish, which has no bones to cut through, with this tool proved useless. Only 3 fish were attempted at each power source, and I returned the steam cleaner in a timely manner after only trying to clean 3/4 of a fish each.
