It's a great rod belt

It worked like a charm. It allowed me to reel in whatever I was after without having to pull the gimbal pin. In spite of my concern about how well the cup would hold a standard rod, when I hooked up with a 18 lb Yellow Tail, the cup held the rod firmly There was no movement of the rod and it stayed firmly in place. There is a holster equipped with scissors and pliers on top of my belt. Once the belt clip was in a position where it wouldn't interfere with my holster (the belt clip was located by the front right side of the holster), I was able to attach it properly. The purchase was a great one.

The belt had to be cut off and the straps had to be re-run so that it could be easily removed and the straps could be adjusted to fit anyone The fishing pin also unscrewed itself when fighting a fish (added loctite, we shall see if that fixes it).

The quality and durability are excellent. This belt came with a video camera and DJI Ronin gimbal that I use. The belt makes shooting more comfortable. Instead of allowing the stem to poke my stomach, it keeps the stem far away.

Generally, the design is good with the exception of a small part where the rod rests on top of the cup and which is The belt is rounded so no sharp edges, however due to not having been able to use the belt yet, I cannot offer any real-world feedback. Having test fit the belt, it seems that it will handle the weight of multiple large fish, but only time will tell.

As of yet, I have not tested it, but it looks well built. I gave it only four stars because the curve doesn't adapt to the body or it is very flat. I would prefer it if it could be more ergonomic and had a curve that would adapt better to the body.
