It is a pretty strong group of people. I don't know how heavy the rods are that you're using, but I think they should be able to support at least 7 pounds The weight is 10 pounds.
There is some stretch, however, the tie is a solid circle, so the rod needs an opening to accommodate it. I am not sure how much it can stretch

I think it is best to have a "cut to size" & "burn" statement. Is it possible to buy the short as well as the long version (?) This is a very long rod and I assume it is designed to accommodate multiple rods and adapters. Bundling too much will cause the bungee to stretch (see below for the hook and look recommendation). The strongest way to secure these rods is with just one at a time or at most 3 rods since it becomes more cumbersome to manage more than three rods at one time. A color-coded choice would also It will involve cutting off any length that is excessive, "cutting to fit", and melting off the ends. If you want to identify an instrument quickly, use colored instrument tape. My concerns about the plastic housing are that it is too fragile to withstand constant exposure to UV light and salt water. 303 Protectant might be helpful to treat with. This link will help you. There is nothing better than this stuff. The Space Shuttle used this system. You can also use short hook and loop (velcro) straps as an alternative to bungee cord (which loses compression over time). You can overlap two straps to lengthen if you need to. I have flocked my telescopic hand poles as shown on the picture. Please find below a link to something similar to what I used, although the original site is no longer available. *** **** ****.
Zip ties have been used mostly by me to keep 7 foot 2 piece poles together and untangled when I drive to the beach, but I have to cut them off and carry them back with me (I sometimes forget Earlier this year, I purchased two 12 foot surf rods to take to the beach for fishing, and used noodle pieces to wrap them and keep them safe and untangled, but that proved to be problematic as the noodle pieces became tangled. In the meantime, I am hoping the quick rod ties protect rods during the trip to the beach and can be quickly attached and placed back in the truck at the end of the fishing trip.
This has been an excellent purchase, so far I've purchased 12 of them. I only wish I and noticed there is a black option before These rod holders were perfect, they fixed my problem perfectly. After months of searching for a secure way to keep my rods, I found them and were very pleased with them. This is a very good quality and durable product. I have no doubt at all that it will last for a long time. Before they break I'm likely to lose them and forget about them. Their strength and gentleness make them gentle on my rods, but they provide total security for them. A bit of soft foam is inside the plastic mechanism on the inside of the cord, so my rods won't even come in contact with any hard plastic.
The velcro straps that I was using to tie up my rods after use were not all the same, and I found that these did the same thing, and I am able to put them away faster, and they are also much more durable.
This is a really cool idea! The mechanism was easy to use and I was able to tie down a 4 piece fishing rod with no problem. . . They are well made. . . there is a foam pad that makes contact with the rod. . . these pads are glued to the plastic mechanism but can easily come apart over time. . . I just put a dab of glue on them and they were fine. . . this is a very nice product.
When I tighten, I usually need two hands, but when I loosen, I only need one. The products work as they should, and I have bought additional packs since discovering where else they can be used. Is standing up to normal use so far and has proven to be a quality product.
I am glad to have found a product that eliminates tangles on fishing rods that are properly set up. The rod guide will be used to attach your weight to the rod when your hook is attached to the rod guide. It may also be used to connect two pieces of rod together. The invention is well made. Removes tangles from a lot of strings.
Velcro straps are something I won't use in the future. There are a couple of great things about these - they are cheap and easy to use. These can be attached to some of my two-piece trolling rods and make storage easy. My second order of two sets has just been placed.
