Overall, I believe it is 42" tall. It measures 25" in circumference around your waist. I am confident you will have no problems. Make sure you cauterize the end after cutting it with a flame or something similar. This prevents it from fraying or unraveling. It is, however, best to try it on with whatever you are wearing first and leave an inch or two extra. Mine had an adjuster like a rifle strap, but I'm not sure if this is the same one. Had to cut it but didn't need to.

Water needs to be kept out, so it needs to be snug. There's probably 31 inches between my waist and my hips. Will the waistband fit tightly around my waist if I make it really small?

Because none of these things are There is nothing magical about this belt it's just a plain old bylon webbing belt with a quick release buckle for holding your waders in place should If you have to bail out of your waders quickly, the buckle on this wader will let you out quickly. You can also use the belt to hang stuff from it. A pouch for tackle, an icepick for killing fish that I'm not planning on releasing, and stainless kitchen sheers for cutting line all go into the belt. The belt is so useful for keeping all those items handy that I wear it even without waders. The belt is just webbing you can probably save a buck or two if you go to the climbing counter at your local outdoor outfitter and buy the required fasteners. This item could be bought and you would be satisfied.

You can keep dry by wearing a wader belt

This belt, when buckled, will prevent water from rushing in should you slip while diving. The belt is made of the same tough plastic as gun handles. A moment's notice can be given to unsnap it These are great if you need to get out of your boots fast. I use them because I play too close to the water while kayaking.

I expected it to work as expected. FILM UP A CHEST WADER IS NOT AN ITEM THAT ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO FALL OVER. It is essential to wear this belt. The chest tub fills up with water when filled. A REAL PROBLEM can doom your life, and you don't know how to cope with it.

This is excellent. There is no need to adjust the buckle, and it is easy to use There is a plastic snap on the ends of the strap, which snaps into each other to keep the strap secure. I think it is fine. Using strap material that resists being permanently bent when stored in a pile is the key. According to a brief review, the material of the strap seems water-resistant. I'm amazed at the price you got for it.

The perfect replacement for your wading belt

It was time for a replacement belt after my old one smashed in the door of my truck. My waders came with a belt that I was uncomfortable with. This belt is better.
