This set was purchased for use with a 2 pc Ugly Stik that I own, just so I can get it in and out of the car easier. Upon slipping the strap over a hook, in order to stop it from sliding along the rod, a slot has been cut into the strap and the loop. I have 3 spare straps, so we will have to see how they hold up, but three straps are enough for one rod (7' 2 pc), which means I have 3 extras.
This is not funny if you are selling rod products. I think you should test this with a lot of rods as opposed to just making it and not working all day.
It works exactly as it should, and if you have any problems, it's super easy to contact the company's customer service.
Two or three piece rods travel well when these are used to keep them safe. They were awesome to use with my long surf rods on the way to and from the beach and I would buy them again without a doubt.
It works very well. I like how the velcro holds the pool together and that it's strong enough.
Fishing poles are sure to benefit from it. When I head out on a fishing trip, I use them on all my fishing poles. I also find that they work great for storing away my rolled up extinction cords.
The fly rods I own did not work with this product. The item is being returned.
