The oversized zippers are easy to use and feel like they will last a long time, and the double sleeve cuffs keep water out of the inner garments. br>br>I'm 6'245 pounds and found the XXL size to be a good fit, with enough room underneath for heavier clothing. The sleeves were a good length just above the knuckles (I imagine most people wear them around the knuckles to wrist). br>When compared to Helly Hansen, Grudens, and other well-known brands, I recommend RainRider because of its reasonable price and high quality.

I'm afraid it won't be long before it catches and I'm unable to remove it due to the rough spot. The jacket will be rendered useless once this occurs. The hood is also only attached in the back in a section about 5 inches across the back, leaving an open area on both sides of your neck when you're wearing it. You can tighten the strings, but it still leaves that area exposed, which means you'll get wet if it rains. This is a terrible design because I have to wear the jacket in the rain and wind all of the time, and it's a pain. It's a shame because the jacket and pants appear to be excellent value for money, but these two flaws would prevent me from purchasing them again. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> After a few more uses, the jacket zipper gave out. The seller responded to me twice via Amazon, the first of which asked me to contact their customer service but provided no phone number or email, and the second of which offered me money in exchange for my time, but with no way to respond, it was futile. I would not purchase this suit unless the zipper has been upgraded, as the MFG claims.

I got to try out this rain suit for the first time today in a torrential downpour, which is exactly what I needed before writing a review. For starters, I ordered a 2XL because that is my usual size, and the jacket fit perfectly, though the pants were a little long. The material appears to be of good quality and is not too heavy. After the rain stopped, I took off the suit and noticed that there was a lot of dampness on my shirt but none on my shorts, so it could have just been sweat, which I assume it was, but it made me wish it was a little more ventilated. Overall, for the price, they are excellent, and I would strongly advise purchasing a pair.

I've bought light rain suits that I thought were great until I was out in the rain for a short time, at which point they seemed to make you cold and damp, accumulating dampness on the inside. This rain suit and pants are heavy to the point of being almost too heavy. And I like it because I purchased them to keep the rain out rather than in. The only drawback is that it is a little too big; a medium would be adequate for a man standing 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. My height and weight are 5 tenths of an inch and 180 pounds, respectively. When it's colder, it's a good layering piece over a medium-weight jacket. It is a heavy PVC type, not a material, that should withstand wear and a significant downpour. I didn't think it was perfect, but it was good enough for four stars, five if you consider the price; I would have preferred a Gore-Tex jacket. I'd like to get a Tex rain suit, but I'd have to take out a mortgage to do so.

This item is unquestionably strong. There is no need to be concerned about it being too thin and tearing. It was successfully implemented in Alaska. Also, a fantastic transaction.

This is a very nice set with US sizing that is correct. Normally, I have trouble sizing clothing on Amazon because I believe the majority of their clothing comes from Asia, where the sizing system is completely different.

Wearing it is very pleasant. To keep the wind out, there's even elastic under the sleeves. It was one of the best purchases I've ever made. I sent them an email with a question about size, and they promptly responded. This rain/weather suit comes highly recommended by me. ***** FIVE STARS.

day two. The jacket's zipper foot had broken. It's made of vinyl. I'm not sure if I'll be able to fix it or if I'll have to return it. Unfortunately, it broke during a downpour of rain and 45 mph winds, making my husband very unhappy. br>Update: This company provided a replacement suit very quickly. My husband and I are both pleased with our situation. If the zipper breaks again, I'll post another update. Excellent customer service!.
