Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how much this jacket weighs?

You'll need to select the right size. I went with the XXL so I could wear it In other words, 8 is right. One pound and 57 ounces.

Can you tell me how much it weighs?

I weighed Xl on my scale and it weighs 9 ounces.

The size of my waist, arms and chest are 39 inches. I'm 5'8 feet tall, weigh 168 pounds and have a 34 inches waist. Should I order a larger or a smaller size?

When I was 6, I was six. A person who weighs no more than 85 pounds is approximately 0 feet tall. A 135-pound person weighs a lot. I plan to wear this shirt while working with a lot of movement (not just hiking), and at times I need a layer underneath. In your opinion, what size should I get? Thanks so much.

Do you know if this material breathes well?

We do not recommend rain jackets because they The jacket I have now costs $200 and I have another rain jacket for $80. High-pressured air does not affect either of them No matter what the manufacturer says, watts activity (hiking) is an activity that must be measured. My favorite part of this jacket is the sleeves. I would consider it a steal for this price.

It's the best thing I've ever bought, and you know what I mean
5/5

The walk I do is for exercise. am 67 and I am an avid cyclist and hiker. For myself and my three sons, it has cost hundreds of dollars to buy rain gear and winter gear. When I saw this jacket, it came to me. Would you like to donate $35 to me? I'm not talking about Marmot, Columbia, or For example, you can shop at a Patagonia store or a REI store. It's impossible this is going to be a smart purchase, so I figured. I am delighted to announce that this is the best outer layer for winter weather, as well as the best rainwear I have ever purchased. As far as I know, I do not review anything. I do not get paid. I have no interaction with this group. It is still important to let your friends and neighbors know when you find something as good or as cheap as this. The jacket I'm wearing is too nice to take When they say "bone dry" they mean it. It's like getting a warm hug. The jacket is perfect even on days when it's raining heavily, as we have all too often lately. There are no problems with the zippers. No water or cold air can get through the sleeves or the waist when the sleeves and waist are all tightly closed. That I could get something this well made for such little money stunned me. The tissue weighs just about the same as the cloth. used it as an outer layer during the winter and it beats puffies and trendy, label products The Frogg Togger is by far my favorite coat. I'm forever in his debt.

In order to get what you pay for, you should be prepared to spend
3/5

A backpacking trip in southwestern PA for four days and three nights brought us into contact with its capabilities. A high temperature of 70 degrees and a low temperature of 50 degrees. On two of the four days, there were heavy rains or storms. The pros are It is lightweight (my Medium jacket weighed 7 oz. Eight ounces). Despite its water resistance, the material seems to retain moisture It is windproof. A medium fit is good enough so that I can layer a light insulating layer underneath. I am 6'1", 175 pounds, and 34 inches in waist. The cons are There is tape on the outside of the jacket's seams. There isn't tape or sealing at all seams, including those at the waist, wrist, the front zipper, and the Zips at the pits are not allowed. Despite the small vent size, there are only two small 1/4" grommeted vents (one per side). The only perfect rain shell for backpacking, if you ask me, will never exist. A pair of rugged shoes can be heavy, bulky or expensive. A pair of lightweight shoes, however, could break after a few months. The coating on the waterproof shoes eventually wears off and the shell absorbs water and becomes heavy (potentially dangerous depending on weather conditions) The jackets available from TNF, Marmot, Mountain Hardwear, etc. don't breathe well, regardless of their marketing.
I experienced excessive moisture in these seams during times of extended heavy rain, soaking the elastic, stretch cords, etc. The jacket that was "heavy" at the edges was when I came into camp and pulled it off to shake it dry. There was too much water in the wrists, waist, and brim of the hat and I could wring it out like a sponge. Purchasing this jacket, I wanted a lightweight, waterproof shell that wasn't bulky but also wasn't heavy. Taking into account that it would be difficult to breathe. The best time for me to backpack is in the late fall, winter, and early spring, so staying dry is extremely This could be an interesting proposition! I am not sure if you have any recommendation for seam sealing these areas, or if this is just Without a doubt, I am not likely to keep this one in my bag. I think there might be two.

A lightweight backpack that's perfect for backpacking It is a medium size of 85oz
5/5

What I wanted was exactly this. The cheapest semi-truck for $24 It should be possible to have a disposable jacket that doesn't rely on DWR, which tends to wash off and wet out very quickly. My opinion is that breathing is not a feature It seems there is always too much moisture held in by goretex jackets. It will keep me totally dry, so I'm glad about that. During aerobic activity you'll sweat as much as you do while wearing your jacket so as not to get soaked. In my experience, I usually wear medium shirts/jackets, and this medium is perfect. It is roomy enough to fit a fleece jacket under it when needed, and even a down jacket if required. I like the length of the sleeves and the fit of the hood. I just can't see how this can be the oddest thing in the world On the other Frogg Toggs gear, they are similar to garbage bag style. I basically gave up $150 in Marmot and Outdoor Research jackets for something like this. These still have their place, and this isn't a replacement in any way. In the medium, there are 7 ounces. The weight on my scale is 85 oz. My usual rain jacket weighs half as much as this one - a full 5oz saving If you are trying to reduce backpacking weight, this is certainly something to get excited about. In terms of colour, the blue on the shirt is more of a grayish-blue Although the color is blue, 1994 still wants the fluorescent green/yellow zippers. That is disgusting!.

This light weight ring is an incredible value
4/5

During the height of the typhoon season, my family and I traveled around Japan for a month. • Lightweight (measured weight of 7. 2 lbs. 2 oz/7 oz. 5 ounces)
+ Compact (1/3 the packed size of our GoreTex jackets)
+ Totally waterproof (never dries out, makes a nice windbreaker)
+ Shockingly cheap for such good The jacket also has convenient features like quality zippers, zippered pockets, an elastic drawstring waist with barrel adjusters, taped seams, and some adjustments to the hood. There was a lot of rain on our trip. Showers almost every day and a few downpours that were quite wild. We carried these in our backpack all day, and the compact size and light weight were Even after weeks of daily use, they do not show signs of wear or We have a few small complaints to make

Waterproofness in its totality means that none of its effects can be detected A breathable material. While we were hiking in the monsoon heat, we were pretty sweaty. This thing is just begging for a pit zip. I wish to thank you for your great generosity. The design is not stylish in the least. While the bright zippers and translucent material make these clothes stand out deeply unfashionable in downtown Tokyo, they would be fine for hiking in the backcountry. I wish to thank you for your great generosity. The size is for people who are big. As tall people, the fit was way oversized. A 6'2" 190lb man fit fine in a medium, while a 6'0" 145lb woman was fine in a large (without a baby, she fit fine in a Reduce the size. I wish to thank you for your great generosity. The collar felt strangely fitted to me, since it chafed a bit when fully zipping They were great, reliable pieces of gear - I would definitely recommend them. When you consider the cost of lightweight rain jackets, this is a great deal. My money would be on rainpants in a heartbeat should they ever be produced. (Despite all the outstanding detail, I am deducting one star because the pit zips are missing.
