The touch screen function is not sewn in to the Flip mitt internal glove. To use your smartphone, you must first remove the glove. I hope you find this information useful.
Elevated 2 is a pattern that is a combination of elevated 1 and elevated 2. Very comfortable and well-made
Yes, I primarily use them when riding my ATV. I can attest to the fact that they are extremely effective! This pair of gloves/glomitts blocks the wind better than any other pair I've ever owned. They're a bit pricey, but they're well worth it!
There isn't a removable liner; instead, there's an integrated one.

I feel bad for only giving these gloves three stars because they are extremely warm and comfortable. Especially since I adore all of my Sitka hunting equipment. However, I only wore them when hunting because the soft cloth on the fingers prevents you from using a phone's touch screen. Some people may be unconcerned about this, but I have a job that requires me to be constantly connected to my phone. While I'm hunting and in my tree stand, I need to be able to access my phone and occasionally text; I have other gloves with which I can type and text, but they aren't as warm as the incinerator gloves. However, if I need to use my phone, I don't have to take them off all the time. Sitka should be able to make these gloves touch screen compatible for the price if much less expensive gloves can.
These seemed to be a better deal for the price. These gloves kept my hands warm while I was moving and walking around, but I had to ball them up in the palm area if I sat for an hour or more. They also absorb water like a sponge, and I don't mean slowly. br>br>Mine are mostly black and white camouflaged, which I underestimated how much they would stand out in East Texas, but they'd be fantastic in the snow. This isn't a drawback; it's simply something to be aware of. br>br>I would not buy these again or recommend them to anyone.
My fingers are always the first parts of my body to become cold. I've been looking for a warm glove to wear while hunting and ice fishing for years. These flip mitts are the toastiest gloves I've ever owned. The only thing I don't like about it is how weak the magnet is. It doesn't always keep the mitten firmly in place on the top of your hand, but that doesn't bother me. For archery hunting, there is no bow release hole, but with the mitten flipped back, I had no problem pulling the trigger on two deer last week.
They worked great as snow gloves. So warm! When I went high altitude hunting, my hands became numb from trying to glass from a windy cliff. br>br>The magnet that is supposed to hold the mitten folded back is a little weak, but it isn't a problem at all. br>br>I picked these up and they immediately did the trick, nice and toasty fingers even in an open breeze hiking out before sunrise. br>br>The magnet that is supposed to hold the mitten folded back is a little weak, but it isn't a problem at all. It's completely out of the way the moment you slide it off your fingers. br>br>I even snowboarded with these gloves because I didn't want to rent snow gloves. They became slightly damp, but my hands remained completely warm and dry inside. Amazing.
They're bulky, but they keep you toasty warm. I've never owned a pair of gloves like these. They come at a high cost.
Windproof and extremely warm. On those bitterly cold days, there's enough room in the mitten section for a handwarmer packet. When out in the field, it's nice to "disconnect" from outside distractions, so touch screen material on the index finger would be nice, but not necessary.
These are far superior to anything I could have imagined when I purchased them. I'm looking forward to putting them to good use. I've never seen such high-quality gloves before.
The most comfortable gloves I've ever owned. I've used a variety of gloves over the years. You should have just bought these to begin with, along with the merino glove liners, and you're good to go. When you're in snowy conditions, the first pair of gloves you own will build up snow on the outside. (In other words, they do what they're supposed to do: insulate and keep heat in. ).
