Selected User Reviews For Trophy Ridge Custom Stabilizer Weight Set, Black
a typical form For those familiar with the Bee Stinger aesthetic, the Trophy Ridge weights have a smaller diameter but are thicker. Also two-dimensional are the individual weights. The majority of the mass is contained within an internal piece that is bonded to an external thin metal sleeve. The weights themselves are fine; the threaded bolt used to secure the weights to your stabilizer was the source of my major concern. While the bolt's dimensions and thread pitch were accurate, the bolt's finish was abysmal. The bolt appears to have been cheaply painted with a rough matte finish that grinds when threaded. Worse, unlike Bee Stinger bolts, which have a hex/allen interface, the bolt is flat on both ends and has no tooling interface. This makes it difficult to install and even more difficult to remove once the weights have been snugged down to a clean finish (i. e. no bolt end protruding from the stabilizing bar's end). In hindsight, I should have just paid the extra money for better weights and a matching bolt.
