This stabilizer is incredible. Anything longer than 6 inches used to bother me because it made my bow feel too forward-heavy. For a while, I actually preferred not to use a stabilizer, and it wasn't until today that I realized how much I was missing out on. My entire 3D and hunting career was spent shooting short stabilizers. I never saw much of a difference between using a stabilizer and not using one at all. This is the first time in years that I've felt the need for a stabilizer with this 10 inch version. Because it was so much cheaper, I got the Trophy Ridge one for $40 or so, and it was the 6 inch or so. I was planning on going to Kodiak in two weeks for a Blacktail Hunt and wanted to give this stabilizer a try if I went beyond 50 yards. It quickly tuned me in and greatly aided not only in accuracy but also in sound. Don't squander your money on the cheaper bars; they're well worth the money. 10/10. Also, the ten-inch bars are a good choice. In the brush, I'm a lowcountry SC bow hunter, and unless it's a 20 yard shot, you should have this guy loaded on your bow. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and investment!.
I read a lot of reviews before deciding on this stabilizer, and I'm a little let down. It's adjustable, and the weights are easily changed, which I like. Overall, the product is of good quality and does a good job of stabilizing my bow, but the end piece that screws into the riser has a flaw. When you screw the stabilizer's end piece into the riser, it loosens the screw, and it doesn't always fit snugly. Almost every time I use the bow, I have to adjust the screw with an Allen wrench, which necessitates the carrying of an Allen wrench. This is a poor design; the end piece should be solid and not loosen when removed from the riser. As a result, the grooves on my riser are beginning to wear away, and it never feels like it fits snugly.
I borrowed a few stabilizers to get a sense of what worked and what didn't work. I couldn't borrow this one, but I knew exactly what I was looking for when I purchased it. br>This is, without a doubt, the best stabilizer. This isn't even close to being a tie. I didn't expect it to be as effective as it was. This keeps my Halon 32 stable and quiet. I'm not usually surprised when my expectations are exceeded, but this one did. It was well worth the investment!.
It looks great, the fit and finish are fantastic, the quick disconnect design works flawlessly and breaks down in seconds, leaving my (already dead in the hand) bow perfectly balanced in my hand, and even the 10/8 hasn't made me wish for a more compact setup while on the move or in the stand.
I use a 10 inch front bar and an 8 inch side bar. My teams have made significant progress. It takes some time to play around with the weights and find the right balance, but it's well worth the effort. In comparison to some of the longer options available, it is also easy to carry in the woods. I wish they were available in a wider range of weights. Additional weights, on the other hand, can be purchased separately. As a result, there's nothing to be concerned about. I removed the Bee Stinger wrap from one of them, and it now looks much better. The bare carbon rod appears to be quite attractive. It's a great addition to a hunting setup or a small 3D tournament setup, in my opinion.
I've been shooting without a serious stabilizer for a long time. I reasoned that if I can hit what I aim for, what's the point of going? I bought this item to see if it could help me tighten my shot groups; fortunately, my target has five targets because my shot groups are so damn tight now that I can split arrows at will. It's a fantastic product, and I'm only disappointed that I didn't get one sooner. Perfectly balances the bow and ensures proper execution.
I don't know about the balance because I've only used it for short distances (it arrived today), but damn, it made my pse mach 1 carbon stealth even quieter, which I didn't think was possible. Until the target is hit, you don't hear anything. For hunting, there is no such thing as a silent death. I'm going to my long-range 3-D printer outside. D spot later for 50-100 yard shots to see how it handles, but the silence is worth it in and of itself. This is what a ninja would use, so I got the 10 inch black shaft because I heard that's what the elk prefer. Don't be a fool, affix one to your bow. You'll get a lot of attention from the ladies as a result of it.
I'm not likely to purchase another stabilizer brand. Vibration and sound are reduced as a result of this. You can find a good weight to help settle your pins before a shot by mixing and matching the different weight sizes. I also purchased a Bee Stinger quick detach in order to fit it into my bow case more quickly. It was well worth the money.
