Yes, it was appropriate. The Spyder Takedown Recurve Bow is a pre-curved recurve bow that was designed by Spyder. Threaded bushings were installed for a variety of accessory upgrades. The Sunya carbon bow stabilizer is compatible with any bow that has a 5/16 pre-drilled hole. Threaded Inserts for Accessories have been installed. The most common thread size for a bow is 5/16 thread. To use on it, recommend a Sunya carbon bow stabilizer with a 12" length.
Yes, you can use it as a rear stabilizer for hunting or 3D shooting! When using the stabilizer as a rear stabilizer, the two-piece weights can be used separately to control your weight on it. "10" is a good number to start with. As a rear bow stabilizer, a 12" EP10/EP12 will be used.

It comes packaged in a sturdy storage tube. Please remember to keep the bar in the tube. It's worth noting that this appears to be carbon fiber with a high modulus. As a result, it's quite stiff, but it won't stand up to any kind of impact. That's just the way things work in physics. The loss of deformability comes at the expense of overall tensile strength, and carbon fiber, no matter what, does not fare well when subjected to point impact damage. The rubber portion of the weighted end is a little stiff, but it responds to axial and lateral deformation, so it'll be useful for reducing forces transmitted to the weights. For their size, the weights are quite heavy. Based on their density, I'm guessing they're lead. As we all know, lead is extremely toxic, so keep those away from children. I decided to go with the longest length available - 15 inches tall - I'm glad I did because I'm glad I did. This stabilizer appears to have a very high moment of inertia, which is exacerbated by the distance from the source of kinetic energy (I. As a result, I expect the dampening effects of this stabilizer to be significant (e. g. , the bow moving as your hand moves), and thus I expect the dampening effects of this stabilizer to be significant. Now, because it adds weight overall, if you don't have a strong bow arm, you may find that holding the extra mass for long periods of time is exhausting. But that's physics, after all - It will be more difficult to hold the bow if the weight is placed far away from the previous center of mass. However, the inertial dampening effects, in my opinion, are worth the effort. I can assure you that small quivers and shakes in your bow-holding arm will be significantly reduced - The wonders of physics in action once more. The build quality of this stabilizer is excellent, as is the product quality. I'm blown away - Note that if the set screw for the weights is fully sunk into the rubber dampener, the threads of the second weight will not fully run through the set screw for the weights - If the plastic washer between the weights is removed, it runs through a little more than half of the second weight, which is sufficient if you torque down the weights by hand after the set screw is fully tightened into the dampener, in my opinion. I debated the best configuration for that set screw and ultimately decided on fully tightening it into the damper to ensure it makes full contact with the damper, even if the second weight is not fully on. set screw on the spindle I don't see why the weights wouldn't loosen with enough torque applied by hand. This stabilizer may be unwieldy in the field at 15 inches, but your mileage may vary. It's absolutely fantastic in terms of range.
This stabilizer is really good. This stab is on par with much more expensive alternatives. In the future, I will not spend the money on other high-end brands. br>br>I like that the front and back screws can be removed, allowing you to add even more weight to the stab than it already has.
Read. The stabilizer works fine, but you can't shorten the set screw that holds it in place by removing one of the forward weights.
It's a great stabilizer (8 inch) at a reasonable price. I like it a lot. I would choose this one over most others on the market if I had the money.
"I got a ten. " It keeps my bow as quiet as the Trophy Ridge Hitman, and it has enough weight to tune up or down depending on your needs.
My group sizes have shrunk! Due to the lack of camouflage and flat earthy colors, only 4 stars are awarded. However, this is a fantastic stabilizer. My groups have shrunk, and I've already made it through a particularly difficult hunting trip out west. The extra length didn't bother me at all, and it actually helped me carry the bow in more comfortable and stress-free ways.
I needed a compromise length for hinting season because I'm so used to using a long stabilizer from 3D. This one is just right; it's long enough to use with my bow stand while practicing, but short enough to use in the woods.
This is my third stabilizer. I'm new to bow hunting and this is the best one I've tried. This one strikes me as the most well-balanced of the bunch. Don't let the price or the brand fool you into thinking this is a dud.
