Questions & Answers
I checked the riptide online and it doesn't appear that this will fit. I don't see the same mounting brackets and hardware in the folded position as I do on the Fortrex. I hope this information is useful.
It may fit if there are two bolt holes on the side of the trolling motor's head where it bolts on.
Minn Kota Terrova trolling motors are not compatible with this accessory.
Ours had to be cut, so my response is that it will most likely fit any, but you may have to cut it.

This applies to both the Fortrex and the Ultrex, which I didn't see mentioned. It was exactly what I was looking for. Definitely a must-have for the ultra-heavy ultrex, as it eliminated the bounce while driving.
It accomplishes the task at hand. You can relax knowing that your t-shirt is made of high-quality materials. In rough water, the motor isn't going to bounce around!.
I wish I had bought it when I bought my boat because I really like it. I could have saved some gel coat if I hadn't been so impatient.
It was a lot easier to cut the bar than I thought it would be. It was a perfect match. It was much easier to cut the bar than I had anticipated. The directions specify how much to cut in detail. All I did was add some silicone to the plastic feet at each end to keep them from flying off. br>br>All I wish is that I had known about this earlier. After years of slamming through the waves on St Clair, the deck of my boat was being ripped apart by the motor arm. It's a shame the Fortrex doesn't come with this stabilizer right out of the box.
To cut to length, have a sawzall or jig saw on hand. I cut the wood with a hacksaw. It wasn't particularly enjoyable, but it served its purpose. The engine is now completely stable.
Easy to put on, arrived on time, and did a fantastic job.
