Questions & Answers
Yes, it will work because it was designed by Bowmaster.
It worked fine on a 2019 Bowtech realm ss, which is a wide split limb bow similar to the Vertix. I've had a lot of practice with mine. Watch a video on YouTube to learn more about it.
It fits most bows and is a must-have in any hunter's arsenal; I use it every season.

It's entirely my fault, but I should not have purchased the wide-limb adapter in the first place. This adapter is just too wide and tended to slip off the ends of the limbs, making for a tense couple of moments with my pse brute and parker wildfire. To keep them from falling off, I used a clamp on the ends and squeezed them in a little. The product itself is extremely sturdy and well constructed. When I pressed a 60lb and 70lb bow, I got zero flex. The distance between the limbs is more than an inch, whereas the narrow is closer to 3/4 inch. I believe that the smaller bow is required for the majority of bows. That's something I should've done more research on. Again, a good product, but do your homework and make sure you really need the wide one before purchasing it.
To change the string on my bow, I ordered this and combined it with a winder style bow press. Some people have described their experience as frightening due to the item's flexing and bending. I didn't notice enough flex to be concerned, but then again, I'm a big chicken and was mortified at the prospect, lol. I had visions of objects becoming stuck in my head, but I was mistaken. The string was replaced, and everything works fine now. It's not a problem for me to do it again after the first time. Simply use your head to ensure that the tool is positioned evenly and centered before torqueing it down to the point where you can't move it. To be honest, mine looked a little crooked after I torqued it down, even though I tried to make sure it was centered, and it didn't seem to matter. It went off without a hitch.
Also, keep an eye on the 6 degrees of limb curvature at the mounting location; you don't want these to slip or straighten out under pressure. It would most likely ruin your day and be a bad thing all around.
It works flawlessly on my Mathews Halon 32, and it should work on any Mathews. I'm glad I went ahead and bought it, and I'm looking forward to using it. I had no problems stringing my Halon 32, but as with any other bow press, pay attention and be careful.
This was purchased so that I could make minor adjustments to my bow in my home shop. I adjusted my peep carefully each time I used it (about a half dozen times), and the rubber shrink material ripped. My bow limb blew up as a result of the bracket coming off with such force. I could have bought a real press for the same price as this cheap bow press and limb bracket combo. If you don't have a parallel limb bow, I wouldn't recommend it.
On a Bowtech Realm SS split limb bow, I used it with a Bowmaster G2 press. It was very simple to use the press after watching a YouTube video on how to do so.
These brackets fit my Prime Defy with dual cams because they're wide enough. I don't have to worry about the brackets slipping off my bow while I'm pressing it because the rubber grip appears to be strong enough.
