I've only been playing golf for about a month, but I've already developed a serious gold addiction. This product has been in my possession for one week. I was hitting balls fat, couldn't hit my driver, and was just plain out of confidence before I bought the Swing Trainer. br>br>I spent two hours on the range with this product yesterday, and it completely changed my swing tempo, swing path, and fluidity. br>br>All of my drives were flush and in the air (with the exception of a few slices that will be worked out). Incredibly different from day to day. br>br>The following day, I warmed up by playing 18 with a friend. I was very confident in my shots and performed admirably. My friend was astounded by the progress. br>br>Short version of a long story: If you're a beginner having the same issues as me, pick up this odd-looking device and stash it in your bag!.
I've been practicing swinging with the swing trainer in preparation for the competition. round and at the shooting range before/between shots I had a bad slice and didn't want to hit my driver because I couldn't get my swing path in no matter how hard I tried. I'd lose my balls if I didn't get out. I'm glad I finally got it because it's completely changed the way I play off the tee. Prior to this, when I hit my good driver shots, I'd average around 220-230 yards. 250yds; I'm consistently hitting 245-pounds after only three weeks. 280 yards (I got 312 yards-- er a good bounce and roll in the dry). Here's a tip I discovered: br>br> Do 3 reps with the weighted end, then flip it around and hold it backwards for 3 reps, then do 3 reps whipping it fast, 3 weighted, and 3 range shots. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative I still had to figure out how to control my club face, but that was a lot easier after the trainer helped me improve my tempo, body rotation, and path.
It does what it's supposed to do, but it's a lot more wallet-friendly.
I've only been using it for two weeks, but I've already noticed a significant improvement in my swing. I usually have a big slice and only play in outings where I can use other people's drives, but the guys I play with immediately noticed a difference in my swing, and I hit the ball better than I had ever hit it before. This product costs a third as much as the orange whip and does the same job. I watched a couple of whip videos on YouTube and practiced them, and I noticed an immediate improvement. This isn't a quick fix, but it will help you develop the habit of swinging at a steady pace.
Instead of the original Orange Whip, I went with this. While it appears to be a useful training tool, I believe it has two design flaws. It has a rough rubber grip to begin with. The stick's weight exerts too much pressure and inertia on your hands, and the rough grip irritates my hands, particularly my thumbs. Due to the lack of a counter balance on the grip end, it is heavier to swing than the Orange Whip. While I'd like to keep it, I'm thinking about returning it in exchange for the Orange Whip, which has a soft grip and counterbalance. br>br>By the way, this same stick appears to be available on Amazon under a variety of different names. According to my stick, I'm a: (t) Baligh. Buyer beware, just in case you didn't realize it.
After watching the instructional videos, I decided to buy this swing trainer. I took it to the range first to practice tempo. This is by far the most effective aid; it's impossible to beat it. My foursome and I went to the course the next day. We all used it to warm up before and during the round. My drives took me to places I'd never been before. I'm 71 years old, and I've noticed that my usual 200-yard drives have increased to as much as 220 yards. My friends were so taken aback that they requested one for each of their golf bags from me.
If I had it to do over, I would have gotten the 48" rather than the 40" if I could. I'm worried that the 40" won't have enough lag to give you the downswing feel you want. However, it is still extremely useful.
This swing trainer was only recently delivered to me and I've already begun to use it. As a so-called expert, I can honestly say that it has improved the length of my drives and the smoothness of my swings. That being said, I still need to work on making all of my swings smooth and consistent, as this is a major problem for me. I just don't have consistent, even, smooth swings, and I'm hoping that this device will help me with that.
