The tape should not be placed here because you want the putter to slide smoothly. Using the guide, I have had a lot of practice and it hasn't scratched my putter. It has been very helpful.

suppose the plan would be better if there were a few tees attached to keep it in place outside. Previously, I believe the metal of the device was heavier. Compared to the metal version, this plastic one is cheaper.
