Although other reviews claim that the net is difficult to set up, I found it relatively easy. An easy fix was found for a minor deformation within one of the poles. The mat started delaminating after about three afternoons of using the net. I probably hit 200 balls cumulatively before it started delaminating. By the end of the third afternoon, the foam on the turf had separated so fast that it was no longer able to hold together. Having these two factors combined results in a 2 star purchase for the net and a 0 star purchase for the mat.
There are lots of great things about the Internet (don't miss out!) In the past few days, I have been sending woods, irons, and wedges into this net, and I am extremely satisfied with its A hard stinger or a mishit will be stopped by this. A miss will be a miss until you catch the net. As of today, I have used it almost every day since it was set up a few weeks ago. In the meantime, the net seems to be holding up well. While I leave my net outside in Michigan, I break it down and carry it inside for winter (hoping that it will last through the cold, wet months). I don't really use the "target," but it seems to work fine nonetheless In addition, the balls tend to shoot back at you if you hit them directly, and I am using mine in an urban backyard. The mat is basically useless to There is no way that it will stay put on my grass, and it is showing signs of deterioration already. But I wanted a bigger mat to stand on and be level with the ball, so I ordered a much nicer mat from another retailer online.
Overall, it's a great net, but the added bonuses (mat, balls) are useless. If I have a swing analyzer, I'll have a small backyard practice area that I can use when I have limited time to go to the course.
As soon as I noticed the packaging had been recycled, I should have realized there was a problem. This set of cards was sent back because someone was not satisfied with it. It didn't appear that the target cloth and netting had been stretched since the previous installation.
The product is made in China. I will build my own target and get the net fixed with a bit of good old USA engineering acumen.
This product is easy to install, incredibly durable, and holds up well over time. It is also very appealing to me because of its design. In contrast to the tee box, it doesn't occupy too much space, which is convenient because I like to consider different positions when I initiate a tee shot. For short game practice, I also like to target pockets.
The hitting net is a great tool to use in the winter. I am very satisfied with the quality. Even though the instruction sheet was inadequate, it was easy to set up. The assembly and disassembly are both fast and simple. Having the net extend a couple of feet onto the ground in front is desirable to me. Compared to two other nets I have owned in the past, I prefer this one.
Hit your golf ball into this great net. Webbing made out of plastic is pretty thick. It's too early to tell how durable it will be. Having a driving range in my living room is like having a driving range in my backyard. I'll tell you, it's like no other.
For example, one of the metal pipes was dented and needed to be hammered out to accommodate another pipe. While some of the pieces did not perfectly fit as well as they should have, I was still able to assemble it. It is set up in my backyard and my husband has tried it a couple of times already.
The quality is extremely poor. There's too much sagging in the net, the target is too stinky in the air, and the hitting mat in the kit is so inferior that I'll have to go to Golf Galaxy to get a replacement.
