As you can see the net works just fine with this in the back drop and it's the reason I bought one. The smaller holes in this worked just fine as well.
There is no way I can tell you. There is no need to repair these nets once they break down. I hit thousands of golf balls into them before they break down. This will mean that they can withstand repeated hits of golf balls going about 140 mph before they are destroyed. That should be of some help.
There is a nylon rope border around the whole thing. My bag does not have grommets, and I used a mini-bag To attach my PVC frame to my net, I used carabiners. It was made of PVC, and it was eye-catching There are mounting bolts on which the carabiners can be clipped.
A UV treatment has been applied to the nets. It is not just the outer coating but the entire net that will be treated with UV rays, since the raw material contains UV inhibitors. As with the nets, they are also dipped for weather protection, which is what some people have had come off during play. Three full seasons of outdoor weather should be able to withstand the net Florida has an average lifespan of 5 years even during the warmest months. The Nets Are Just For Us

As well as tying the bottom of the net to a pvc pipe, I zip tied the bottom of the net to the pipe. This worked great to keep it firm enough when hitting golf balls into the net. It is possible for me to roll the net onto the pvc and hang it above out of the way when it is There is little chance of anything falling through the net, as the holes are small enough to prevent anything from travelling through them. It's been hit into even by one of my kids who practices batting. This is a highly recommended book!.
Despite it being coated with a discoloring solution, I've been using it for golf in the garage for about two months without any issues. I noticed that at first the balls seemed discolored, but after a couple of weeks it greatly diminished. A quick update In spite of my 70 years, I normally only hit irons (gave the wedge and the 5-hybrid a good hit), so I was rather surprised when I hit a 6-iron through the net today. Three out of four of my shots go into the net Each week, we work 4 days. An average session consists of about 100 balls spread over 90 minutes, by which time I have finished several drills and shot several Consequently, when the ball wore a hole in the net, I was truly surprised! In order to keep my rating at 3 stars, I am lowering it.
It has only been 6 weeks since I damaged this net after hitting a 7 iron through A little over 10 to 20 shots a day was probably my average. I have had nylon nets that have lasted a long time but this net, whatever it's made of, is more suited to someone who does not use it often or does not make consistent About an 8 handicap is my handicap, and I can hit the ball fairly well and am fairly consistent with hitting the ball. A few hundred hits into it, it punched a hole right through it I also noticed that my 9 iron hit the net and is about to have a hole through it. It is quite possible that you might want to look for a sturdier net if you can consistently hit the ball with a 7 iron.
I like this net because it is sturdy and strong. The mesh sun protection screen that is behind it is currently mounted In terms of response, it responds well to golf balls and does not cause any problems with them passing through. It destroys golf balls, and that is all I have to complain about. The lines left across them from every shot are brown. You can see the picture here. In the picture on the left, the ball has probably been hit 15 times so far, and in the picture on the right, it has probably been hit twice. I tried to rub them clean by soaking them in water for a week, but that didn't seem to The net will be covered by a nylon target I am getting to prevent the balls from falling into the hole.
It's nice to see quality construction in a The net is made of heavy duty material (much heavier and thicker than a typical golf net), nylon rope around the exterior and four carabiners (one on Upon unfolding this net, I discovered that it was very stiff, but I think that it will loosen up with time. As with others, we have hung this net for golf practice from the ceiling in our garage. It quickly stops a golf ball due to its heavy weight. It takes a matter of seconds for my son to stop the ball after he swings the driver at well over 100 mph. I chose the 10' x 15' size for this project. With 10' for the vertical direction and 15' for the horizontal way, about ten feet of hitting area is available, with approximately a one foot wrap to the left and a four foot wrap to the right (for those occasionally shanked In addition, I have a very light weight mesh tarp laying between the net and the wall, which is only 18 inches from the wall, so the ball doesn't seem to hit the tarp at all or just a little bit. There have been some reports of wear after thousands of balls have been hit. That would be fine with me if it lasts for that long. During one winter, I had a Calloway golf net that was quickly damaged by my son, who put a ball right through it (maybe a 1,000.
This 10 x 15 net I bought was for building my own golf hitting practice net in the backyard. I just finished it 2 days ago, so I have not used it much and cannot comment on durability at this time. I also do not plan to leave it up over It seems to be well made and its performance has impressed me from the 50 or so balls I have hit into the net so far. I've been happy with it so far, as it is everything it says on the box. Here's an update. It has been over a year that I have used the network. I left it up over the winter and we have had a lot of rain this past few months, so it has been up for the past Since the beginning of the year, I have hit 5,258 balls into the net (yes, I am on track to reach my 10,000 ball goal). This net has worked perfectly for decades there are no tears, holes or signs of wear. Winter will be a great time to put it up again.
I put a hole in it with my driver, but it was still good. Despite hitting the ball pretty far, I didn't lose any balls. There are over 300 firms in the industry As a result, this likely would not be an issue. To give you some perspective, I have not had any problems with less than driver. I have since doubled the internet connection, and no problems have occurred since then. Bottom line, I now have a functional hitting area in my backyard in Chicago, which is such a great thing. There are no problems with these nets, and they are reasonably priced.
I had to eventually repair it because it had holes. Whenever I hit golf balls, I use these. Four years ago I purchased a white one and it has been a great buy. In the end, it was ruined by holes, so a new one was needed. A black version of the book was purchased. The problem is it leaves nasty black marks on my balls that transfer to the face of my club. Afterwards, it is a lot harder to clean. While the product seems to last well, there are a lot of black marks left behind.
