I bought this product for a work colleague who's becoming quite an avid golfer - he will love it! The thoughts he had were these Thank you so much Tony Man! I appreciate it a lot! This is what I use with my golf putting net both inside my garage and in the backyard, and it has been quite effective on both occasions. I like this putting green/fairway simulator because I get a good feeling of going from the green to the fairway, and its rubber base is both heavy and grippy so when I practice in the garage I don't have to worry about it sliding around. The mat has three Tee "base points" incorporated into the bottom, which provides me with an option for where I can putt using the rubber Tee holder if I want to do so off the mat. In addition, I like that it came with a bag of plastic tees and adapters. This is a heavy, heavy portable mat that I use more often than I used Tony, thanks for your kind words!.

I use it to avoid killing my lawn with short iron shots while out in my yard. The bottom is made up of a rather heavy rubber material, as others have said. It would be helpful to avoid the barrel sliding after every shot if that were possible. There is still some movement, but I did not find it to be irritating. As of yet I have not used it enough to be able to judge its durability fairly, but so far it seems to have worked just fine.

The pros are There is just enough rigidity and weight on the mat to ensure that it won't bend or roll away from For the first time ever, I used the mat on a couple of bad swings and it stayed in place. A thick enough driving surface means that it should last a long time. The tee pegs allow for traditional tees to be used, which is much better than the rubber tube tees on the mats that you can find at other places. I am able to achieve a solid surface on my uneven lawn due to the thick rubber backing. All I had to do was drop the mat down and it was ready. The cons are My guess is that the grass side of the mat won't last or hold up to iron shots for very long. The grass won't come out when I pull on it.
After long term use, the end result will be determined. The width is too narrow, in my opinion at least. It is just enough room for the club face to sit on the surface, but only just In a sense, this is a good thing because you won't need any extra grass to swing on, but visually, there is a sense of tightness because two grass lengths lie Perhaps I am the only one feeling this way. I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker, though. In summary, this is not the first golf mat I have owned, but I can tell after just a few dozen swings that it's better than other golf mats I've used. As long as the mat does not move or get in the way, I am fine. In setting it up, there was no need for fighting with the mat. As long as this holds up well and stays in place, it may be a good choice. There is a tee holder on the "tee box" portion of the mat for holding the large and small tees. Those holders are frayed around the edges slightly but not to the point that I feel this is a cheaply built item. A good deal of weight has gone into A section of the fairway is matted in the direction of swinging. You want to swing in the direction you want to. This is a great product for both left and right handed golfers, but right handed golfers seem more at ease using it. The money was well spent.

Mats of this quality are very sturdy. The turf is split into two levels. On the shorter turf, I use BirdieBalls for full iron and hybrid club swings, and for chipping out of the rough, the longer turf is used. This mat's bottom is made up of heavy rubber, so it can stay put. In the yard, I use the mat to prevent divots however, I have not attempted to use it on concrete so I cannot be able to evaluate it.
