I had expected it to be pretty much as The leather is extremely durable and the finish is very good The simulation of turf is good enough. Basically what I wanted was something that I could pound away on and not have to worry about falling apart. It does just that. It has probably already been hit more than a thousand times but you wouldn't know it! I would like to admit that it is a little bit more spongy than I had expected. The fat shots on the read thing aren't as noticeable as they are on the video. It's of very good A thick, yet not too heavy blanket. If you have hardwood floors, it slides a bit, so you must readjust it every dozen or so shots. With quite a few iron shots hit off of it so far, it has shown NO signs of wear whatsoever. I plan to try one of those rubber mesh anti slip pads they make for rugs. All edges are finished neatly, and there are no shedding problems. The irons I use are not marked. There is one drawback to this mat--it is more squishy/unstable than I would like. However, I assume this is the price to pay for making a mat that is forgiving and easy on the joints.

A good cushion and thick mat can be found on this mat. It is an excellent choice for rubber tees. My only concern about the tray is that it seems flimsy, and I am not sure how it will hold up in Arizona heat, but I didn't purchase it because of it. As opposed to some of the cheap mats, this mat has real grass on its surface. Considering how often I play in the rough, I'll probably add a section with thick grass to simulate hitting out of rough. However, I have no complaints.

My husband and I have had this mat for a few days now, and we This review was very difficult for me to write because I was hitting balls while writing it. This mat is very well made and appears to be durable, it does not leave any green marks on the sole of clubs, and I have hit at least 1000 full shots on this mat and have not seen even a hint of a mark. There is a great attachment for the wood tees and a good ball tray as well. Excellent purchase. I couldn't be happier.

Having hit balls into my garage for 30 years with a 1 foot by 2 foot pad, I definitely need a larger pad. You hit the balls on a much larger surface than a 1' x 2' pad (see figure) Great value for your money. My footing feels stable on the 5/8" pad, which is soft enough to simulate turf accurately while firm enough to ensure stability. The following note is for the product manufacturer On the three-foot side of the cutout are two tee hole cutouts. When I take a normal stance, my rear foot hangs off the edge. In order to correct, I have to angle the mat a bit. The better way to make it would be to make four cutouts, two of which would better accommodate right-handers and left-handers,.

My exact wish came true. A mat that is like the ones you have at a golf range is what I was looking for at an affordable price. I can watch YouTube videos at home and go out to my lanai and drill, practice my swing, or warm up before playing our local course, just five minutes To hit from the mat on my lanai, I also purchased three dozen foam practice balls. Light enough to protect the screen, yet not too heavy to damage it. There is no better mat than this one.
