The previous mats I used were the foldable ones with 3 surfaces, but I found that I only used the third of the total hitting area that was in the "tight fairway. ". I prefer this mat because it makes your hitting area look like a closely mowed **I've probably hit 1,500 wedges and I haven't even hit the green yet I have hit short iron shots from 50 to 150 yards on this mat so far. One of the edges has been cut off by too many steep swings, as you can see from the photo. However, I believe I have a lot of work left to do with this mat given that the whole hitting area is still intact.

One time purchased and used. 3. 5 inches of turf started to separate from the bottom after 15 minutes of swinging. In the second time of use, almost all of the turf has come loose. Upon receiving the item, I will return it.

It has worked for me a couple of times and has struck several 50-yarders The pitch shot should be 100 yards. I read a few bad reviews here, but my grass stayed on just fine, regardless of my poor selection. A defective unit must have been used by that person. Using a mat will cause the ball to be a quarter to half inch higher than your feet, as opposed to hitting from grass. You might want to grip the club a quarter to half inch lower than usual to compensate for this. A great product, I will certainly buy another if/when I wear out the first one. A field with an empty hole is a great place to practice it's like a free driving range and has already helped me through a swing change and made the contact with my ball.

After examining the available images I chose a mat that appeared to be built in a durable way. I was happy to find that the pictures of the mat were close to what I received, and that it avoided many of the flaws I have experienced with other mats in the past. In particular, I was concerned about the way in which the coping around the grass area was designed to protect the grass from damage Securing hits with a secure hold. It has taken me a little over a week to test the durability of the mat, and it appears to be durable so far. As the rubber tee holder (or rubber tee) has a hole for a secure grip, you can easily pick it up and move it around without having to pick it up and put it back in. The majority of my shots are hit with my driver and a tee with a mat, but there have been occasions where I have used my 3 wood, hybrids, and irons on the grass as well. The surface provided an appropriate amount of give while still remaining firm, so I found it to be a good surface for hitting the ball off of. . I considered buying the larger mat, but I'm happy I went with the 13 x 17 inch size because it provides a good amount of hitting area for smaller elbows, and it is very easy to move around if need be. Based on the reasonable price and solid construction of the mat, I deem the value of this mat to be exceptional.

This turf is great for hitting. We have swung about 100 iron shots so far and have not noticed any wear. Looks like it has never been used. It is easy to put the tee in the I found the durability to be solid overall. is not likely to move around too badly when you hit an iron shot.

It has been used twice so far, so the durability is still up to be determined The Mat I'm using now is different from the Hit Mat I used previously, and I believe it is better. Aside from liking the size and weight (can be carried easily one handed), I also prefer the feel of this mat with club contact. The turf seems to be well anchored and tight, which is something I dislike in To touch the turf, it has a reasonable feel A short shot will result if you strike the ball a little behind it. I use it only for chip shots and short pitches, maybe 40-45 yards. I've only used this product for 50 yards or so. I am satisfied with it and recommend it.

I have updated It has taken over 1000 shots over the past 6 weeks for the mat to begin to tear. A few chunks have already fallen off so far. The fact that I hit a couple fat shots and was a little hard on the mat may contribute to that, but it is bound to happen sometimes. It would have been nice if I had purchased a full-size mat instead of a small one. There are still some uses left for it, but they won't last This is the original review Honestly, I consider this mat to be very good for the price. Iron shots off of the turf are a little shaky due to the mat, but overall, I feel quite satisfied. It stayed put better in the medium, which I thought would be better, but The tee shot needs to be clean for it to be fine.

In our backyard, where there is thick grass and a slight slope, I got this to use in the backyard. It is impossible to hit a ball well on the grass, since it is too thick and irregular. I have used this so far and it has worked fine, but the thinness of it means it won't lay flat unless the surface beneath it is flat and even. If there is even a slight slope or a clump of uneven grass, the surface won't be level, and a ball will not rest on it. The last four months have been pretty good to me. I've chipped it 50 times so far, mostly at a slow speed. It appears some grass material is coming loose from the surface, but no real damage has been done. However, I'm not optimistic that it will last for a long time.
