Previous to that I used the foldable hitting mats below that provide 3 surfaces, but I found that the third in the "tight fairway" area was the only one I used. really like this mat since it looks like a closely mowed fairway when it hits. In the past month, I have hit more than 1,500 wedges I have hit a short iron shot on this mat ranging from 50 to 150 yards so far. You can see in the photograph that some of the edges have been chopped off because too many steep swings were taken. The whole hitting area is in good condition, so I think I have a long way to go in terms of this mat.

The last couple of times I have used it I have hit quite a few 50-point shots The pitch shot should be 100 yards long. As soon as the mat arrived, I was pleased to see that the pictures accurately represented what I received and that it was constructed to avoid problems I've had with other mats in the past. This turf is great for hitting. A hundred iron shots have been swung so far and I've not noticed any Looks like it was just bought. This tee case is the perfect size for holding a tee. I am impressed with the durability of the product overall. Having your iron shot hit on the mat doesn't cause it to move that much.

The durability of the product has not been determined yet because I have only used it twice I am certain this mat is more efficient than my previous hitting mat. I like the weight of the mat, its size (can be carried with one hand), the feel with club contact, and I like the turf. I found the turf to be tight and well attached, which has been a problem with other mats in the past. It gives you a reasonable feeling to touch it You will produce a short shot if you strike a little behind the ball while chipping or pitching. I only use it on chip shots and short pitches, about 40 yards to 50 yards. The length is at most 50 yds. I'm satisfied with the product and would certainly recommend it to others.

The backyard of our house has thick grass and a slight slope. I bought this to use in the backyard. It is difficult to hit decently in the grass because it is too thick and irregular. I've found that this has worked out okay, however it cannot lay flat on a flat surface on top of this, so you must also have a perfectly flat surface beneath. There is not even a slight slope or a small patch of uneven grass that makes the surface not level enough for a ball to sit comfortably. About 40-percent of my goal has been met This is the 50th time I've chipped it, mainly at slow speeds. It is possible to see some grass material coming off of the surface, but otherwise there is no damage at all. Although I am not certain that this will last, I am hopeful that it will.

In a nutshell, I have updated The end of the mat is starting to rip and some pieces have come off over the course of about 6 weeks and over 1,000 shots. I am partly responsible for those results because I hit some fat shots and I was hard on the mat occasionally, but it happens from time to time. It would have been more beneficial to have bought a full size mat for a little bit more money. I still have it, but it's probably only usable for a while. The original review was as follows I find it to be good value for the price. It moves quite a bit on iron shots off of the turf, but it seems to work fine otherwise. It didn't stay put as well as I thought it would, so I went for the medium size. You should be able to play it fine with a clean tee shot.
