In my experience, there are not many fairways I'm used to About the same amount of energy is put out by this attack. The mat feels like a synthetic one, but since it is heavy and does not move, it is quite pleasant. There is no way hitting off a mat can provide the same experience as hitting off grass (divots, cutting under the ball, etc. ), but this is as close as I can get to a hitting mat that I can carry with me and avoid damaging my lawn. While I find that it is more useful when I am practicing with my fairway woods and hybrids than my irons, I still utilize it for practice. I hope this helps in any way.
In the words of my husband, "I use regular tees.". It looks so high in person that I actually pull out a pair of pliers and clip off the bottom of the tee. 'He uses a hitting net in the garage and has his mat in the garage."
A rubber tee from Amazon or your local golf shop can be used to replace the broken one.

I do not have exact dimensions but I would guess it might be 14" x 4". This is 5. You shouldn't be fooled by the appearance, it is very heavy, robust, heavy and dense. The base is made of heavy rubber that doesn't slip around during use, and the hitting material is excellent, incredibly dense, and tough. It almost makes you appear better than you truly The product is great.
This was bought for me to practice my swing on my balcony, but I am also using it out in the yard so I don't cut up the There have been some complaints about the thickness elevating the ball so the feet aren't exactly at the same level. But on a golf course, how often are your ball and your feet at exactly the same level? As it is, you need to be able to deal with differences in height. It was initially a concern that the golf club was so small, but I think it might've helped me focus my swing plane. By using the mat lengthwise (long edge pointing toward the target), I can improve the swing track and avoid hitting the edges of the mat with swings landing too low. It works for me even though I do not know if that's what the designer intended. It seems to work right for tees, but for irons, I take it out and place the ball in the hole left by the insert. As a result, I am able to more easily hit the ball down on the fairway, as I would on the putting green. I am satisfied with the way it turned out, even though some may prefer the larger size of it, but aligning the long edge with the swing path seems to be the best way to go for me. For what they are, these seem like a bit of a pricey purchase, so I decided not to spring for the larger one.
The rubber tee holder on this hitting mat snapped after about a week of use. Answers to my questions and comments are available on the Amazon Q&A page As I haven't heard from anyone about where I can buy a replacement or be provided with one, I asked for a section. There are 18 mats in the box. The mats themselves are excellent, however the rubber tee holders are garbage, and you should receive at least three more along with each mat and an option As for Callaway, I've reached out directly to them and have yet to hear back from them. The driving mat is of no practical use due to the fact that I have to spend money on replacement tee holders if and when I can.
In order to take a few swings in my apartment without needing to go to the driving range, I purchased this compact hitting mat. I enjoy the turf because it is durable and doesn't change the color of my As a result, the rubber mat is thick enough to protect the floor underneath and heavy enough to prevent the mat from shifting a lot. To hit foam balls into my curtains, I use it on a carpet that is relatively short. I am an experienced golfer and have been using a 54 degree wedge to hit the ball, but I typically leave a small divot in it. As far as I can tell, the mat barely moves when I hit it at the golf course with care. Then it would slide an inch or two if I hit it hard enough. In addition, chunking will cause it to move a fair amount. I have enjoyed hitting off of it so far because it stays put well enough. If anyone is considering indoor use of one of these small mats, I would recommend this product.
In terms of price, it's a decent product. I also appreciate the very thin design of this mat. It is possible to put it down and swing away without feeling like the ball is above your head when it is set up on the Though it is not padded, it does give a good grassy feel to it and is that way because it is There is only one significant disadvantage of hitting irons with a full swing, the mat will move forward a bit if you hit it fat or take a divot like you would on For the price, I am still happy with the purchase.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Almost as soon as I received it, I had to return it. A lot of the pieces fell apart This will no longer be able to withstand full swings unless you're only looking to use it to hit light chip shots in the backyard. The rubber tee broke as well. In addition to the grass ripping and seperating from the rubber, the rubber tee also separated. Invest in something else instead of wasting your money.
Well-made. To avoid him destroying the grass and to teach him how to hit correctly (hitting behind the ball etc. ) we take this to a park nearby where we teach my son some of the basics. I'd like to see metal grommets at the corners and a stake system to prevent it from moving. It's got a good amount of weight to it, but I want to see a stake system to prevent it from moving. However, it has to be adjusted here and there because it does not fly all over the place. I think anchoring would be a much better way to do this.
A solid foundation. This thick heavy rubber backed fairway turf simulates the ideal grass on a golf course. It is wide enough for a In the event of a mishap, the slope will slope gradually The target is repeatedly struck. Now that I've accomplished it, I can relax. You can take it to the park with practice balls without tearing up the scenery when you obtain a good impact zone! When you obtain a good impact zone swing, the brush-feeling feedback does not cause slide. The idea of it accidentally flying out of my truck attracted me so much that I was inclined to turn around and find it there. The downside star has been withheld since the tee option has been destroyed and is of limited value.
