After my boyfriend was diagnosed with skin cancer, I purchased this for him. It does not allow any light to pass through and completely blocks the sun. I'm not sure if the underside is silver or black, but it doesn't matter because the sun and its harmful UV rays are blocked. It's perfect for him.

Is there a bungee or other means of attaching it to the golf cart at Sun Mountain?

I'm not sure, but if the wind picks up, the cart will be blown away. I have a variety of umbrellas. That was done by one of them, so I no longer secure it to the cart. If I want to secure the umbrella, I have a Sun Mtn cart with a screw-on umbrella holder with the cord attached.

It Assists You in Retaining Your Cool

This is a large umbrella that can be used to protect yourself from the sun. When it blocks the direct sun, I find it to be at least 10 degrees cooler. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and I use it every time I go golfing.

Under This Umbrella, It's a Lot Cooler

On a hot day, the temperature difference under this umbrella is easily noticeable. It also keeps you dry when it rains. It was the ideal size for my Sun Mountain push cart.

It's a great umbrella; I haven't used it in the rain yet, but I live in St George, Utah, where the temperature regularly exceeds 115 degrees, and it's been great to use with my clic gear push cart.
