I bought this umbrella for days like today (it's currently raining heavily), and it was the first time he actually enjoyed being outside because it was sturdy, didn't budge, and kept us both dry. When my boyfriend saw how big it was, he laughed, but it's so light, and I'm amazed at how strong it is. It does not fold up in the wind or appear to be easily breakable. Whether or not my son had special needs, this would have been worthwhile in any case. I'm sure it'd make a great golf umbrella, but it was a safe haven from the rain for an 11-year-old autistic boy, and I concur. It will no longer be frightening to wait for the bus on a rainy day. It was well worth the money.

People have remarked on the massive size and silver color, which appears to be very well made. I explain that the government is unable to track my movements because of my silver color and massive size. It occasionally produces the laugh that I was hoping for.

The umbrella is quite large, and it easily shields me from the sun. It's not too heavy, and I can watch baseball games with it for hours. I found exactly what I was looking for.

She promptly sent me a replacement umbrella after she received the photos! Today was my first time using this new umbrella, and I must say that I am impressed. Even though there was a strong breeze, this umbrella held up admirably. I even intentionally threw it into the wind to see if it would flip, but it didn't. In this wind, I'm sure my regular folding umbrella would have turned inside out. The arc is enormous, and it could easily accommodate two people. I'm a big woman, so "comfortable" to me would probably be "roomy" to someone half my size; I also have their other golf umbrella in navy, which is the same size as this one. That umbrella also performed admirably during a recent rainstorm on a windy school morning. br>br>I'm going to change my review to reflect this company's excellent customer service and high-quality products. In the future, I would buy more umbrellas from them! Original review: br>br> This umbrella's size is perfect for me. It also appears to hold up well in a light breeze. HOWEVER! I only used this umbrella three times (briefly when picking up my kids from school), and the handle completely detached from the umbrella, as if it had never been attached. Despite the fact that I purchased this umbrella as a Lightning Deal, I was hoping it would last longer than three days for the price. I've emailed the company and will update my review if I receive a response. Otherwise, I'll simply return it before Amazon's return period expires.

This umbrella served its purpose well for me. The sun protection was adequate, and the overall construction appeared to be sound, but I despised the handle! This umbrella is difficult to hold and manage because it is made of plastic and has a smooth surface. It was not only difficult to hold, but I could see it becoming slippery if it got wet. br>For a good grip, an umbrella of this size requires a good handle! br>I also own the UV Blocker umbrella, which I find to be far superior to this brand; the body construction is similar, but the Blocker has a grip similar to that of a tennis racket or a bike handle bar. br>For the price, the G4 Free is adequate, but I recommend spending a little more for a much better product. br>br>On a side note, I love my UV Blocker umbrella and it's still as good as new, but I needed another umbrella for travel. I figured I'd try to save some money by purchasing the G4 Free. It was immediately returned to me, and I purchased another Blocker.

This golf umbrella, which weighs just under two pounds, has been an excellent choice for me. Although I have unbreakable umbrellas as a self-defense item, I find this to be a great alternative for practical reasons. br>br>It has an automatic open mechanism with a button. br>br> br>br>It is secured with two straps. It comes with a UV material shield, but I'm not sure how useful it is. br>br>The umbrella is made of a waterproof reflective material that effectively blocks the sun's rays. When compared to my black defensive umbrella, I feel cooler in terms of temperature. br>br>It's as if I'm always carrying a sunshade. br>br>The grip is pleasant to hold. The umbrella is well-made, and the vents aid in wind stability. It protects against rain and harmful sun rays. br>br> Because of its size, it also makes an excellent golf umbrella, as it can accommodate two or three people. Overall, I'm happy with it. br>br> br>br>Update August 2020br>br>It is still in good shape. It shields me from the scorching sun. Wind doesn't really open the vents, but it's not broken. On my hour-long walks, I find it to be quite heavy. To see how things change, I ordered a smaller, lighter umbrella. br>br>I've used it in the rain and found it to be very effective. br>br>The outer coating has not degraded. br>br>It's a tough, reliable umbrella that can be used in the rain or shine.

I gave the umbrella three stars because I didn't care for the material, which was thin and appeared to be made of some sort of mylar. The top canopy was not a truly separate splined piece, and it didn't allow air to escape naturally. In terms of the actual structure, almost all umbrellas are made by the same company, and this one, like most, had the simulated Kevlar shaft, which is made by the same company that makes almost all umbrellas. So there was nothing structurally wrong with the umbrella; I was just looking for a fabric canopy rather than a plastic canopy.
