I had to have one after seeing one of these at a tournament I was in. This clever device keeps your clubs and about a tenth of an inch of your bag dry. br>I don't golf in the rain, but if you do, this device will come in handy. Clubs are easily accessible, and the handle fits into the bag like a club, preventing it from being blown away. The purchase was a success.
"You can wipe your hands and clubs on the canopy's towel underlining, and you can easily remove the canopy and throw it in the wash when it gets dirty. " "br>br>There was no towel underlining, and if the canopy did come off, it did so with difficulty! I didn't want to bother with trying to remove it. Nonetheless, it appears to be adequate, so I'll keep it. br>It's time to fix the description.
This item fits perfectly in my golf bag, has three height settings, and perfectly covers my clubs! It's simple to get clubs in and out of the bag thanks to the spring loaded top! I am pleased with my purchase!.
I keep it in my golf bag at all times. It's a perfect fit. And it's simple to set up. When playing in the rain, the flexible head keeps the clubs in place and makes it easy to put them in and out of the bag.
Over the course of 6 months, I used it six times. When I opened the umbrella, the slender white plastic rib that holds it open snapped in half. The product is very fragile, and Amazon, the seller, gave me $5 because it was past the return deadline. When I contacted DrizzleStik directly, their representative Mark informed me that this product is not available on Amazon. Strangely, I emailed Mark detailed photos of the broken item, but he has yet to respond. br>br>In addition, when it's windy, this umbrella can easily be blown out of the golf bag. When a storm hits the golf course, wind often comes along with the rain, rendering the DrizzleStik useless.
I used the umbrella for the first time, and it served me well. The spring in the shaft made it simple to use and kept my clubs completely dry. It was a little tricky at first because my partner was also carrying an umbrella, but they worked well together if they were placed on opposite sides of our bags.
It keeps the clubs dry without the bulk of a large umbrella. But take a look at the length measurement. When collapsed, the bag is 36" long, which may not fit into the side pocket of your golf bag, despite the description. (It isn't going to fit in my bag. ).
Mine was returned because the shaft was visibly bent (though the box was undamaged). However, I replaced it with one from Dicks. When there's no wind, it works perfectly. The building quality is excellent. Unfortunately, rain is frequently accompanied by wind. In a light breeze, it is yanked from its bag and flies down the course like a kite. I ended up folding it and using the snap-on cover that came with my bag to keep it safe. Perhaps the new "drape" style of design is more effective? That's the one I should've chosen.
