This umbrella is by far the best on the market! This keeps me cool and the sun off my skin because I despise being in the sun. I have two soccer-playing children, and I spend five days a week, all year, on the fields. During the hot summers in Texas, I feel protected from the sun's harmful rays and am able to stay cooler by using an umbrella. I'm constantly asked where I got this umbrella, and now I'm seeing more of them on the fields, with about six or seven of the parents on my kids' team owning one and loving it.
I'm frustrated enough to write this review. This umbrella was ordered three times, and each time the ribs broke. Where is the quality assurance? This is a terrible design. br> If you leave plastic in a hot car, it will eventually break or melt. Change the material you're using.
I originally purchased the black version of this product, which unfortunately allows a significant amount of visible light to pass through. As a result, I decided to go with the silver. I'm glad I took the chance! The silver version blocks nearly all visible light, making it comparable to a good blackout curtain. Both models are easy to open and close, have a sturdy frame, two Velcro straps to keep it closed, and come with a sheath to keep it in.
Coolibar products are always a hit with me, and this one is no exception! It's large and sturdy, and it provides excellent sun protection. When I'm out walking with my dog or at an event where I won't be squished against people (and thus unlikely to hit someone due to my height), I use this. I place a high value on sun protection and use sun umbrellas on a regular basis. I have all of the Coolibar sun umbrella sizes and switch them out depending on what I'm doing. br>br>The only thing that might be a cause for concern is that, because it's so sturdy, if a strong gust of wind gets caught in the umbrella, it makes me fly a little like Mary Poppins, but that's mostly due to my small size. Regardless, this umbrella is one of my favorites!.

While this may not seem like much when reading about its benefits, it makes a significant difference when you're out in the Florida sun in the middle of summer. August is hot and humid, with a humidity level of 30%. That ten-degree difference allows you to take a deep breath again. It is exactly what it claims to be, but the actual experience with it is far more. It's well-made and feels more solid than any other umbrella I've tried. I expect it to last a long time if properly cared for.
