Questions & Answers
Hello, and thank you for contacting us with your inquiry. It stands 40 inches tall and comes in three different widths: 58 inches, 62 inches, and 68 inches. You have the option of selecting a single size that meets your requirements.
It can accommodate two people, but they will be in close proximity to one another. When you divide 58" by 2, you get about 29" per person, which you can compare to the people who are most likely to use the umbrella.
What's the best way to keep the umbrella closed? By pressing the button, the door will not shut. There is no button to press. It's too big to fit in the trunk of a car. Instructions must be included. I couldn't seem to get the thing to close- Answer: Simply pull the mechanism down until it clicks into place, which neither my husband nor I could do. I gave it a shot! It's now a perfect and easy-to-carry umbrella that works every time.
Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. 68 inches is the diameter of the dome. On the product page, you'll find a size chart.

In the black and red pattern, I ordered two of these very large umbrellas. I don't golf; I'm a northern Maine wilderness canoe guide, and these umbrellas are both indestructible and indispensable in the frequent thunderstorms we encounter in the Allagash. This size was chosen because it covers a 20' canoe from both ends from both seats, and the color pattern allows me to signal rescue aircraft in the event of an emergency evacuation. From a height of 2,500 feet, they can be seen clearly in the endless forest. These umbrellas have stood up to severe storms and hail. There are no better options for the money.
I was overjoyed when I noticed the red and black umbrella! This is a stunning umbrella that is clearly well-made and has a lot of useful features! I like the colors, and it can easily fit two people under it. It also has a simple open button and a simple pull close. I also like how the top is designed to let the wind pass through without blowing the umbrella away! For an umbrella of this size and with the features it has, the price is actually quite reasonable! I'll keep you updated as I use it and if anything happens to it!.
I like that it's rated for high-wind situations, so I keep it on hand just in case. I bought it to work with my baby in the stroller because it's large enough to support and cover both myself and the baby, but I've never used it.
When I first opened the delivery package, my first impression was that the umbrella was well-made. I liked how the umbrella opened with a thumb button and how sturdy it was in general. In comparison to other similar umbrellas I own, the included cover/sheath appeared to be a little less than expected. br>br>The first day I took the umbrella to work, I slung it over my shoulder and covered it with the included cover. Unlike other umbrellas I've owned, I noticed that this one let the umbrella slide through the top (smaller) opening until it was halfway through the cover. To better understand, imagine sliding your umbrella into the cover, closing the velcro strap, then gently pushing into the cover until the umbrella slides out the other end. When carrying an umbrella, this is not a very effective cover. br>br>It rained later that day, as predicted. When I went outside and pushed the button to open the umbrella, it opened and the top cone flew off (see photos). br>br>I've only used it once, and my initial impression was not favorable. Not to mention the fact that I now own a brand new umbrella that appears to have already been through the ringer and is about to fall apart. br>br>Wind/Rain: Durability: br>Excellent: br>Excellent: br>Excell br>Giftable: br>Fails to hold together, making the carry strap useless. No, I wouldn't give something to someone I know will cause problems for them. br>Purchase again: Not Likelybr>br>Rated two stars because it appeared to be wind/rain resistant and it didn't feel right to give it one star. I would have given it a higher rating if it hadn't come apart cosmetically.
Because his school colors are black and red, I thought it would be ideal for his rainy spring golf season in the Pacific Northwest. Well, it turned out that we had a fantastic spring, and he only had to use it once for about 10 minutes (I'm a tennis coach, and we had daily practice outside- It's been over 15 years since I've done anything like this! Anyway, he'll be competing in some WJGA tournaments in June and July, and today it rained (who'd have guessed in the summer!). ) so I dashed back to the car to retrieve his umbrella, which I had placed in the car after hearing the weather forecast, and he opened it. He's had it twice now. The umbrella had become detached from the arm on one side. The small plastic cap appeared to have come loose, and the thin thread loops that held it in place had also snapped. So, my first thought was that it might have been rubbing or something in his bag or something, but he NEVER keeps it in his bag. Also, because the umbrella is in a bag, it will not rub against anything (we keep it in the trunk of the car when we go to tournaments just in case). So, while I like the design, the appearance, and the price, it only lasted about 15 minutes: (Unfortunately, because we purchased it in the spring, we are unable to return or replace it, so we are out of pocket. ) I guess I'll have to look somewhere else for something more durable!.
Rain rarely lasts longer than 5 minutes where I live in Florida. I've tried to get by with a small umbrella, convincing myself that the ease of having something I can throw in my bag would encourage me to use it more. The issue with small umbrellas is that water still gets into the umbrella. When I ran from my car through a parking lot in the rain the last time, I managed to angle the umbrella so that all of the water ran off INTO MY BAG! This is a huge umbrella. It's large enough to accommodate me as well as all of my belongings. It can fit two people comfortably. The fact that the brand name is printed across the storage bag irritates me, but it's not a major flaw. It even serves as a sun shield for me. I was forced to go outside without sunscreen, and it took me 15 minutes to burn. I'm not sure about the SPF, but it kept me cool and kept me from burning, which is a win in my book. It dries quickly and comes with a lifetime warranty. There are no issues.
It is well-made. In the rain, it's great. I like the one-handed opening because it is nice and wide. The only flaw I found was that the plastic tips were not glued on and could fall off. This will be remedied with the use of weather strip adhesive.
It's attractive, well-balanced, and easy to open and close.
