I usually get these for $43 at my local PGA Superstore, and I think they're great balls. When I saw them on Amazon for a lower price, I decided to buy them. When I first got them, I was a little disappointed because everything about them seemed a little off. It all starts with the packaging and ends with the balls. br>br>It turns out that the dozen balls I ordered from Amazon were made in Indonesia, while the ones I bought in the store were made in Japan. That, it turns out, is the source of the price disparity. I'm not sure if these are still genuine Srixon balls, and I can't comment on their performance because I returned them as soon as I got them. br>br>In my opinion, spend the extra $6 at the store and get the ones that are made in Japan. They have a more finished appearance and feel.
They're great if you want to spin around the greens. All I wish is that I liked the way it made me feel. I'm a big Snells fan, but I didn't want to spend as much as prov1's. On Amazon, Snells' prices vary, and prov1's are a bit pricey for my game (15hcp). With these, the range has been excellent. Overall, I'm satisfied; however, I wish they had a more pleasant atmosphere.
Despite their high spin, these balls fly straight. However, they don't seem to fly that high off the wedges, so you'll need some greens experience. If you don't hit them hard enough onto the greens, this can be a good thing. If you get the greens up there, you'll have a lot of spin, which means you'll have a lot of control.
I used to play this ball as a winter ball because it could get to be 30 a dozen at times. I'm so fond of them that I'm constantly playing with them. I've been using this ball for over a decade and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality golf ball.
Low handicaps are required. Great distance and control on the greens. Without a doubt, it's on par with the ProV1. I would definitely buy from them again.
I'll have to give it another look after my son has used it.
The ball has a great feel to it. The cost was also very reasonable.
For the money, this is a fantastic tour ball.
